Arghh the wireless problem is killing me.. I guess tml i will bring my laptop to sc to repair and reapply thermal paste.. How long do u think i takes?

Hey guys. Is the hot left palm coming from the hdd? Because if it is,im planning to buy a hdd caddy and move it. Will it solve the hot left palm problem? Recommended?

 would it be okay for the laptop to have no cooler? max cpu temp 70-80. gpu 60-70. would it be okay for the long run? |

anyone hv similar problem?
by the time i start steam client, my dv6 staight away "jetplane" sound somehow the cpu usage not high, just dont get why everytime start steam will so noisy  |

hi all,
i just updated my graphic driver to enduro 12.11 by leshcatlabs, i cant adjust my brightness using the f2/f3 key on my keyboard, any idea? my laptop is DV6-6001TX, thx edit: found the solution, change the graphic card from ATI to Intel adjust the brightness then back to ATI, the F2/F3 brightness function works again...haha  This post has been edited by gundamsp01: Jan 6 2013, 06:04 PM |

I plan to take apart my laptop in the nearest future to clean out the fans. is it okay if i do it without any anti-static bracelet or stuff? How did you guys do it?
