I cannot find GPU Temperature in "HWiNFO64", can anyone share how to monitor all temperature?

Currently i just can monitor SSD's temperature and CPU's temperature... my CPU package Temperature always around 65-80... if run android emulator (NOX), then can go upto 93 average..

So, i would like to know the GPU's performance as well.

If you only disable ULPS, the GPU is working as normal. If you disable it in Device Manager then the GPU is "off".

what replacement battery is recommended? or just buy from taobao?

The max temperature on CPU dropped 10 deg celc (Original max 95) ... seem not so effective

83c on CPU max load with turboboost enabled is good imo.

Planning to replace battery for my DV6..

2015 i bought from Qoo ... i think you can give a try... can last 4 years.. then the battery now degrade... i planned to buy again a new one.. either from taobao or qoo.

i not sure whether the turboboost is enable? i got enable VT only..
i mean full load is i run 2x NOX emulator and set it to 4 cores for each NOX emulator...

anyone can share whether DV6-6171TX can upgrade the network card to dual band and with Bluetooth? it is very suffer no Bluetooth support... @.@

If task manager show clock speed over 2ghz then turboboost is enabled.

I used Nox before. It actually smoother when i set it to use 2 cores. That was on my desktop though.

I think you can only use whitelisted network card unless you flash to modded BIOS.

Clock speed is 2.18 ghz...
no idea how safe is to flash a modded BIOS... anywhere, maybe another year then change latest lappie.. @.@...

Last supported driver for our laptop is 15.7.1 WHQL if you want Catalyst Control Panel or Crimson Edition 16.2.1 Beta for the "new" Control Panel. Can download both on AMD website.
I personally use 15.7.1.

- Dual graphic working (manual)
- Upgraded to 8GB RAM few days after i bough it.
- Upgraded to SSDs 6 years ago after my HDD went kaput.
- Power brick went kaput 5 years ago

Yeah, definitely upgrade RAM and SSD. You will notice the increase of speed and responsiveness right away with any SSD.
I'm using and old SATA2 Intel SSD, still feel soo much faster than a regular HDD.

Hi guys, I owned one of the HP Pavilion DV6-6114tx and after the warranty ended the motherboard went kaput it's some kind of short circuit without any drop or external damage it happened all of sudden, the laptop can't turn on even I plugged in the power brick and it has some kind of weird "tic tic" sound coming out from the brick even I change another power brick (Comfirmed not power brick issue). I've send it back to HP authorized service center and they said need to change the motherboard and it cost about half of the laptop and decided not to fix it. So now I wanted to ask if anyone here experiencing the similar issue before and how much it cost to fix it cause it's quite a good laptop for some home entertainment and productivity purposes rather than sitting there collecting dust.
