That is the HDD data protection sensors, honestly you can disable it.

Can DV6-6001TX support 16GB RAM ...heard for Windows 10 16GB RAM is needed these days ...

From product spec it say max 8GB.
Service manual said Intel model support 8GBx2 though. 8GB stick is pretty rare so ymmv.

8GB is more than enough for me for some casual photo and video editing, SSD is much more important.

I'm using Win 10 home edition...

hi guys...
i owned DV6-6001TX till now..
but my ati gpu kaput already...have to disable if not, it will freeze crush and last window corrupt.
can you guys recommended me where can i repair the gpu chipset?
or perhaps change mobo?
pls guide me guys....

Recently i just upgrade to sanddisk ultra 3D SSD , but during the start up, got still about 20-30 seconds waiting time which the screen is black, then only will show windows login, duno whats wrong..
OS is Windows 10 Pro.
16 gb ram
SSD 500gb

Current score, if original harddisk then it is 4.8 instead of 7.85

Done.. turned off, now startup very fast.

So, is this mean that now my GPU is off? But i am playing game, so can i still continue disable ulps or i need to enable it if i need GPU?
