upgraded from win8 and then reset it by removing everything (files & apps) <wrong move as it wiped my win7 partition as well  cry.gif >

from the circling part > black screen > lock screen wallpaper, that black screen part took almost 1 min or more.
already disabled those unused startup app and there is no high startup impact app in list.
really have no idea what else can be done to lessen the boot time  rclxub.gif

You can try install Windows Performance Toolkit for Windows 10 and run boot trace.
Download http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?LinkId=526740 and only tick WPT when installing.

Then run xbootmgr -trace boot in CMD. Let the PC reboot and wait for the trace to finish.

I send my laptop at one of the famous repair centre in shah alam. I have to wait about 2 months but they can't repair it and even worse they spoiled the laptop, can't even go to bios and the one of my 4gb ram broke also. So I decided to buy a new laptop. that is how I solved my problem lol

Which part is the difficult part? Better buy the fan at Lelong or Taobao or somewhere else and change it yourself imo.

Normal repair shop probably will cost around RM150-RM200 but i'm not sure so don't quote me on that.
You guys did clean installation or upgrade?
*
the last part was difficult
I removed everything but the motherboard still stucked
I applied some force but it would not come out
So I gave up

Also I need buy new thermal cleaner and thermal paste
Better to send for repair

Hi,

I am using Hp pavilion dv7-6c19tx,i face blue screen problem sometimes.
And right now i am in dynamic mode,i would like to ask if it is due to the graphic driver?
If i wanna use application like autocad,do i need to restart it and switch it to fixed mode in order to use it or i just open catalsyt control center and choose high performance for autocad in the dynamic mode?

Thanks

Only 1 dump file?

Are you using Trend Micro AV? Seem like one of it process + AMD driver triggered the BSOD.

Regarding your AutoCad question, i recall you can use OpenGL with Dynamic switching. AMD fixed that problem ages ago.

What driver version you currently using?

Conflict between TrendMicro and AMD graphic driver, not sure which one is the real culprit.
That driver is uber old, try 15.7 from Leshcat. http://leshcatlabs.net/downloads_unfil/
I haven't try 15.9.1.

but previosuly i used it till the technician came and replace my system board.it worked fine.so i guess it is not the problem due to it?

the driver from leshcat is third party driver right?the perfomance is stable?

What is your budget?

Don't need adapter if you going to replace the HDD.

Not worth it to change new one, probably will cost under RM1,000. Notebook will run good but highly recommended to use SSD. Check the temperature and make sure it's not overheating when stressed.

<RM450 , best is as low as possible, but I dont want to get kingston v300 as the performance is horrible.

Best = value+ok performance+cheap (240-256gb)
