i don't have any MG so it will be my fist

rg i have 2 units

3 hg that's all

so not sure is it good to fix MG
*
usually I would recommend to build an MG first before trying RG, but seems that for you it's the way around laugh.gif

since you already mentioned that you didn't have any MG, why not try out the MG Wing? brows.gif

you can also check this link out for WIP/review on the MG Wing. it's a review for MG Wing Ver. Ka, but it's similar to the MG Wing EW Ver. wink.gif

both Ver. Ka & Ver. EW is similarly priced between the RM120-140 range, but you might want to avoid Ver. Ka if you're not really a big fan of tedious decal jobs. Ver. Ka kits are well know for having TONS of dry transfers and clear stickers sweat.gif

it's not that hard but it sure is challenging due to tiny and fragile pieces. just need to be extra careful, others should be just fine

size of the MS are different.. Wing has a head height of about 17meters while Sinanju is about 23meters.. that translates to the model kit too.. 1/100 means it's 23/100, so it's 0.23m tall, or 23cm.. while Wing is 17cm tall.. same goes for 1/144..

thats why this hobby is a test of patience........

but think it through properly, whether airbrushing the kit will be temporary passion, or stays on forever....

are you satisfied with the kit, or wish to improve a little custom on it?

like HxiiiK mentioned, MS from Wing series are a bit smaller (and shorter) compared to those from Seed or 00 series, or those taller ones from Universal Century. the size of the kit is based on the scale from it fictional height, hence the different kit size even from the same MG line-up. not all Gundams have similar height laugh.gif

I don't have a MG Wing, since I'm not really a big fan of it. the one and only favourite of mine from that series is the HeavyArms brows.gif

you can always visit http://gundam.wikia.com to check out technical details for various MS in the Gundam universe

best way to compare prices is to refer back to the original price in Yen, and convert it to the respective currency. some international sellers like HobbyLink Japan might have crazy sales with dirt cheap prices, but you might as well consider the shipping cost, too.

Ah, been to many forums with gunpla sections and I just figured maybe the conversion was in the higher end since a lot of people talk about saving for MG kits here. That or its harder to earn 1 RM than 1 US dollar or 1 Yen.

wing ver ka? It may end up disappointing u though, unless u r a big big fan of wing and dun mind its flaw. Let me list down some of the flaws for u:

1. Proportion is not so good. Despite it looking great from the pic, that is one of the very few angle that it'll look nice
2. Main reason proportion not good is the neck, its too short which leads to the next flaw; the shoulder vulcan cannot be open unless the head is facing forward direction. This is mainly bcuz the neck is so short, the "ears" on the side hinders the opening of the vulcan
3. To circumvent the above prob, the head must b facing forward (no turn, no looking at the side whatsoever) which gave rise back to prob 1. If u look straight at Wing from the front it'll look weird with its short neck.
4. Regardless of which version u get, forget bout holding the buster riffle. The old version doesnt hav a peg in its hand not sure bout the new 1 but even if it does hav it, its far too heavy. To hold it, u hav to tuck the back part of the gun under the shoulder armor to giv it xtra support or swing it across and hold it like shotgun. Unfortunately those r just temporary fix and u wont b able to hold it for very long, a slight bump or if u breath close to it it'll fall off. Bcuz of this the only way to hold it is to let the tip fall to the ground while holding it in its hand which mean u cant do much pose with the riffle.
5. Even if u did manage to hold the rifle via the shoulder armor, u cant depend on it cuz the shoulder armor itself is abit lose. The kit share the same frame as the Wing Zero and in that version the shoulder armor is to slide out n folded down to make way for the angel wing, for ver ka/ew the shoulder retain this feature despite it having no use (Bandai being lazy here) this thus leading to a very wobbly shoulder.
6. The wing are just 2 big piece joint together no moving parts very underwhelming for a MG.
7. (this is personal opinion though) Too much color everywhere.
