Been drawing for enjoyment for many years but still, I think my drawings are ass ugly. Thought I'd post some that I thought are "okay":


Thought I'd try my hand at doing a new concept of a monsterish guy thing.


Don't mind the really really tall guy being eaten, wasn't thinking about his size when I drew him up haha.

All rough pencil shit, always think I've got time to learn to color and what not later, but pencil and paper is the best way to improve I'd love opinions, as harsh as they may be haha.

I actually drew it to enter some competition during my free time, which my work wasn't even selected to be displayed. Not complaining; because I know my works are really really crappy compared to others. But still I am kinda... proud of my work! I mean, it's my first sketch HAHA.

This is something I 'drew' last time. Actually I only know how to draw those tiny cartoon style that's not even considered as art
I tried to like 'paint' like u guys but look so ugly i just wanna throw it away Doesn't even look 3D-ish like the paintings here also

for me thats nice already,no need to be serious and humble,just enjoy.

well to me art comes in my forms, like how you draw your chibis(it can still be a style which you can adapt and improve on) it doesnt really have to look '3D-ish'(sometimes it can be unnecessary) it can still be presented in a minimalistic way with just flat colors and simple shading, the important thing is you wanna identify the subjects which you have the boy kissing the girl's cheek in the simplest way to convey a feeling.

did you use matte art style?

I'm not sure how a matte works lol, its not really refined. I guess its consider a matte painting, cause I literally just paint over a reference here as a base.
Its cheap work since I'm too lazy to to do perspective xD but its merely for the purpose of design on that specific car.
