QUOTE(FireFryXx @ Nov 6 2012, 11:50 AM) Walawehhh nice la! I think you have some trouble on paint his furr Haha, yes, it looks a mess, doesn't it? This is the underpainting stage still, if I were to complete it, I'd enlarge the painting again and go back over the fur with a small hard brush to detail the individual hairs, LOL.

QUOTE(FireFryXx @ Nov 11 2012, 11:01 AM) [/spoiler] those hands very realistic wooo..I really like how you done a good job on those how you paint the armor? mine always cannot show it is an armor..more like soft armor Hands are a favourite thing of mine to paint. And ears. I love ears. I dunno why XD On armour, it's a question of how you shade, especially for metallic armor. There needs to be a sharp transition from midtone to highlight, so the highlight has to be really bright and the midtone closer to the shadow in tone. Somethere like, in grayscale, will be Brightness 90% for the highlight, Brightness 40% for the midtone, and Brightness 20% for the shadow. Lines-wise, it's best to keep to sharp, geometric shapes and angles. The artificial quality of metal armour means that the shapes are even.

That IS a tutorial for comic (anime/cartoon) and realistic art. Anatomy rules for both styles are the same, unless you are going for highly stylised work

QUOTE(Agito666 @ Nov 19 2012, 12:52 AM) side face really weird, somehow flat like poker face for this time Yes, thanks. Shading is off on the lower jaw QUOTE(inachi @ Nov 19 2012, 01:27 AM) the man shoulder shud be SLIGHTLY larger in width..its either shoulder too small or head too big.. and i also realised when u have some overlapping anatomy, the hidden part always make the prportion goes wrong..Same for this one..if u construct the antomy according to this, u will realised that the arm is way too short. Can't change the shoulder width (was half a head wider but client wants him to be more slender) but thanks for the arm tip, try to correct the best I can.

QUOTE(RazerDeathAdder @ Dec 31 2012, 07:00 AM) The process of making tatoos. They use knife rite?? I still blur about it.. KNIFE?! LOL no, except for some REALLY traditional style tattoos, or for scarification tattooing. Modern day tattooists don't do that, it's very unsafe and unhygienic if you don't know what you're doing In brief, tattoos are made by inserting drops of pigment/ink beneath the epidermis, or the outer layer of skin. Tattooists use a kind of instrument that rapidly taps the tips of fine needles onto your skin to insert the ink. Rather like a handheld dot matrix printer head, except it works with liquid ink instead of a print ribbon, lol. This post has been edited by DragonReine: Dec 31 2012, 09:03 AM

QUOTE(RazerDeathAdder @ Dec 31 2012, 10:06 AM) Ohh.. so how many long u did that tatoo? Eight hours total. It's a fairly large tribal tattoo, so extra time was given for careful inking to make sure the pigment is really strong and dark, otherwise it won't look good.

QUOTE(RazerDeathAdder @ Dec 31 2012, 12:30 PM) Wow! 8 Hours a... haha... Ur tatoo is from where?? I mean place that u did ur tatoo.. Black Cat Tattoos. It's in that Asian/anime quarter at sunway pyramid. Last time I visited was when my sister had her tattoo done a year ago, not sure if the shop is still there, but they're good guys, plenty of business.
