Everything is clear cut, and has a figure (be it projected or estimated) under the proposal, they won't put Rm0.xx figure in the proposal. laugh.gif

One thing one must remember, capital repayment won't be a speedy process. So can I make this comment? biggrin.gif

i would rather try luck with the IPO or buy on the listing day by paying more. Reasons:
- As mentioned by Cherroy, cap rep did take sometimes, so capital will be tied up for sometimes
- Buying 1K kassets will result in odd lot of IGB reit (I can't afford to buy more to avoid the odd lot.... =p)

haha you wish. not sure who is gonna sell at only a 3 sen premium .IPOs are hot property now. A lot of the big ones open above listing price. dont see how this would be any different.

Sorry guys..newbie here...got a question I would like to ask..based on what I read it means tht if we buy Kasset share now, we will be eligible for 5.24 units of IGB automatically when it is released? buy kasset, u get IGB reit + cap repay.... then kasset delist

well, since most of the IPOs nowadays are kinda hot..... i guess u'll need to pay more than the IPO price when it's listed...

we dont know what will happened on the listing day biggrin.gif

but anyway i wont mind paying a little more to get this REIT since i treat it as a fixed income instrument.

capital appreciation + dividend payout semi-annually / quarterly drool.gif kinda rewarding biggrin.gif

Please help us, we just want the info, and somebody pin-point the info only, if one already came across. You know the proposal can be lengthy and some may not well verse with corporate exercise method/wording.
We just want to know what is the amount 0.xx, where it comes from, instead of 0.xx.

Tell good about the stock and (even ask to buy the stock), then tell us to find ourself? cry.gif cry.gif

Reit is not ordinary stock, its upside is always capped by its potential yield and NAV.

You won't see a reit IPO at Rm1.25, but open at RM2.00. Very unlikely to happen.

Average up my Kasset

Current cost for IGB Reit is RM1.10 AKA 6% yield

Still a comfortable level.

It begins to drop today....pretty much as expected. some people won't want 30% of their cash being locked up for 6 months before getting it back by the cash repayment. biggrin.gif
nice timing you got there to average up. thumbup.gif I started too early, bought some at higher price close to 8.98.
still got a bit more to accumulate before rounding up without odd lots. thumbup.gif

Bro cherroy, I thought I missed the kasssets/igbreits boat since the news about igbreits to be listed at RM1.25. But after going through the proposal over the weekends, I arrived at the same 'valuation' as some 'promoters' (jk) here. biggrin.gif The proposal in June (or earlier?) was done based on the assumption that the igbreits would be ipo'ed at RM1.00. Now that they announced the ipo price could be as much as RM1.25, what would KASSET do about the extra 670mil*RM0.25 if not giving back to shareholders? Did I miss anything?
