you ARE katesamsung. this, i am....98% sure.  tongue.gif
every time someone asked a question, you(or he) never able to answer. just able to ask people to buy buy buy only. ie the wrong info on cash repayment. You(or he) just ignore and continue to spam.  biggrin.gif

It begins to drop today....pretty much as expected. some people won't want 30% of their cash being locked up for 6 months before getting it back by the cash repayment.  biggrin.gif
nice timing you got there to average up.  thumbup.gif  I started too early, bought some at higher price close to 8.98.
still got a bit more to accumulate before rounding up without odd lots.  thumbup.gif
*
i malas to count.. can u let me know.. how many kassets to buy to get no odd lots for IGB REITS?

Capital repayment is fixed, won't be depended one's entry price of Kassets.

Kassets will be still listed, until capital repayment process completed.
(but it won't traded at Rm9.00, probably at some discount (won't too much) as compared to the capital repayment amount
So probably you will see Kassets trades at RM2.xx after ex-IGBreit entitlement.

Just wanna say THANKS.. your information on KASSETS is real helpfull....

Thanks, below are details for the IPO:

IGB REIT IPO
IGB REIT IPO price RM 1.25
Opening of applicationĀ  27/08/2012
Closing of application 04/09/2012
Balloting of applicationsĀ  07/09/2012
Allotment of IPO shares to successful applicants 20/09/2012
Tentative listing dateĀ  21/09/2012

Balloting of applications is 07/09/2012, so can we get back the refund by 10/09/2012?
Or need to wait after the allotment i.e 20/09/2012?

Can anyone confirm?

Your Kassets finally will turn into IGBreit, if your don't wish to sell.

Added on September 24, 2012, 3:09 pm

If intend to keep IGBreit, then no reason to sell Kassets, unless
1. Don't want money locked in (as corporate exercise for capital repayment takes times, and only expected to be completed 2013 1Q)
2. Don't want to have more exposure on IGBreit, or in other word more IGBreit, as already have IGBreit, (As Kassets will distribute you IGBreit 5.24 for every 1 Kassets share)
Bro, i think u r one of the bro who tease me when i voiced out the buy call for KASSETS.....TODAY KASSETS touch RM9.50....but no hard feeling

For KASSETS holders..i think u should keep as the following reason
If u bought today 1000 of KASSETS at RM9.45( Assumption)
Your COST will be RM9450

IF on 19/10/2012...the iGB reit can maintain at RM 1.40(Assumption) , u can sell 5.24 at RM 1.40 = RM7336

SO RM9450 -RM 7336 = 2114..Total amount on your investment to KASSETS

so INVEST rm2114 AND GET BACK rm 2430 IN 6 MONTHS TIME...EQUIVALENT TO 14.9% RETURNED....

INVEST OR NOT ..U DECIDE URSELF....I JUS SHARE WHAT I STUDY AND KNOW.....BUT ALL THIS IS BASED ON ASSUMPTION...BUT I SUSPECT IT WILL BE BETTER OFF.....

Hi just wanna say thank you for the analysis.. it is sure helpful.

Sell at 1.13
(Assuming u can) buy back at 1.08
Difference 0.05 sen per share

Let's say u currently own 20 lots
20 x 100 x RM0.05 = RM100 would be "saved" if u dump now

If u own more, say, 200 lots, perhaps it would be wise to dump...

But, remember to count your brokerage, stamp duty, clearing fees...

And...what if it never reach 1.08? What is it flies up after u sell? wink.gif
*
thats the excitement of BURSA lor... if sell at 1.13.. then FLY..sure KEK SUM.
but if sell at 1.13..then drop to 1.08.. will be looking at screen.. dunno should buy back or not, as worried will drop further. that is why cannot overcome EMOTION factor.

my overall REITS PORTFOLIO, IGB almost 40% and its negative 13%...

40% in one stock is too concentrated.. less than 20% per counter is more ideal and hence more diversification...
*
did not really see until today. everytime drop.. go buy.. bit by bit it really adds up.
then today when see portfolio.. alamak !!!

out of 13 REITS counter.. IGB is 40% in my portfolio now...

Tot buy Reits no need monitor.. Moral story is.. buy whatever in BURSA also hv to
check everyday.!!!!

Errrr.. dont you think you have under diversified your holdings. Holding alot of eggs in one basket there...

13 separate REIT is NOT effective diversification... sweat.gif
*

[/quot

Since 2010.. doing o.k until now lor.

13 Reit counter is 50% my total Shares investment portfolio.
coz i just wanna collect dividend and dun want spend time monitoring.

I sold off GENM; GENTING; BURSA; PETDAG, YTLP... and put money into REITS...
and was happily collecting dividends. until now see 'negative'.

Remember, the minimum charge is not only apply when you purchase the share, it also apply to every dividend, thus if you hold each share e.g. 1000 shares, the DY is very low for each share.
*
My target is to achieve 5k dividends on monthly basis.. so far 2013,i hv manage 36k+annual dividends.(about 3k a month)

But also if possible dun want to loose CAPITAL....

My REITS return more than 7% yield as I bought since 2010... but now most prices are near my AVE price.
Not sure if YIELD will drop in tandem with price drop. (U knowlah,.. can never really predict future)

Except for IGB ; PAV ; which is below 7% maybe coz still new.

I hv no time to ANALYSE all Reits, therefore, i decided to purchase from INDUSTRIAL, to OFFICE, to HOTEL..
to Hospital... when one goes down, the other goes up.

Nowadays brokerage only RM 8 to RM 10.... so, not really an issue to collect SLOWLY but SURELY....
