If im short of cars from 1st wave, I keep my fingers crossed for possible restock. Promotion till Feb 2013. I aint gonna succumb to scalpers price. Promotion still ongoing but they started early in garage sale and mudah.

Some ppl have alot of RM to spend...they can continue hoarding.

I find it amusing that some sellers will put in the reason of selling as "extra unit".

if we're close knitted community.. scalpers will cease to exist. Simply dunt layan them and blacklist them. Its the desperation of some willing to pay premium ,resorting to scalper smiling happily to the bank. they will continue to live and surface again to make another hit in the future.

As a community.. we can easily swap and I bet 90% of us will get what we wanted internally.


Sometimes I wonder... for the cars.. its merely stickers +lego parts easily acquired through brinklink. And I heard some legofans dislike overuse of stickers anyway. Suddenly its being polybagged and promoted all over.. it became "sought after" like hot cakes.

Completed my wave 2 (and entire series). No need to pump petrol. Can buy as many packs as you like. But I just got one set for myself and another for my kid.

yeah.. like last time before they revised the rules ... i had my friends and colleagues to help me buy the cars ...
since i cant pump fuel everyday .. rm40 also enough for a week
and it ends up i got more than i need ... our friends can be very helpful sometimes.. hehehe...
yup ... you can search at lowyat market, and see how many threads are selling shell lego only ...
and the price
terbeli also, sell back at original price is ok ... but double it ... hehehhe

eventually they will sell them at half price out of desperation ... haha..

Yes, but I did not buy and it was not that nice compared to this new one IMHO.

My kid got me into it. "Daddy, I want yellow car, I want black car!" Reminded me every day for the last week. "Daddy, remember to buy black car on the 29th, ok?" Called him to inform that I'd gotten all the cars and he said the loudest "THANK YOU!" that I've ever heard from him.

I've not gotten the case yet. No hurry. Don't think people wanna scalp the case? Minifigs are also still available due to the strict rule.
