Hi there!

My Rig: Desktop/HTC Desire HD
- Type of usage: Music
- File format: YouTube, Mp3
- Music genre: All
- Budget: 200
- Headphone/ earphone type: Earphone (Earbud if posible)
- Other requirements (if any):

I love the "Let It Rain Over Me" by Pitbull. So, it would be great if this new earphone can play this song at its BEST! flex.gif

I've had an Audio Technica T22 before and I would like to have something similar (or better if possible).

Thanks to all! notworthy.gif

My Rig: Ipod touch/Xperia/laptop
- Type of usage: Music, gaming
- File format: mp3/aac(a few)
- Music genre: all, but mostly acoustic and slow jazz instrumental music biggrin.gif as well as vocal
- Budget: About RM400 or less
- Type of headphones: In-Ear Headphones

Other requirement;Portable, DOes not spoil easily where 1 side no sound

PS:Heard the Steelseries Flux In Ear Pro is quite good for music and gaming for students since its portable and good sound quality from numerous sources but i wanna hearout for any other recommendations from expert audiophilers like you guys biggrin.gif before making a choice thanks biggrin.gif

Frankly, I have less experience with gears produced by them. For gaming, in-ear is kinda bad choice from my experience due to the pressure keep mounting inside, as well as when compared to headphones, it has smaller staging, which could be less ideal for the in-the-game feel. What about portable headphones? Something like Beyerdynamic DT231 pro? Does quite well on gaming the last time I have it. Or probably the HD2xx series Sennheiser? As long as it is portable headphones, it can greatly enhance your gaming experience while keeping it portable, as well as not sacrificing sound quality.

Bass lust eh? tongue.gif Sennheisers cheaper series not bad. Ample bass to satisfy your craving!

Hi guys, my colleagues and I are planning to get a headphone/earphone for another colleague who will be leaving in 3 months time. He loves music so we thought instead of buying him chocs and stuff, might as well get him a decent headphone as he is using the stock Apple earbuds. Our budget is about 150AUD after everyone chipped in (about RM500), so suggestions? He loves Beats tho smile.gif
*
Frankly, if you are to satisfy his wish to have a Beats for RM500 it's hard to get anything decent in terms of Sound Quality. However, to balance the scale, he might just want the Aesthetics/Brand? blush.gif

There are a lot of headphones/earphones out there which could match with Beats in terms of Sound Quality (not looks). The point being, would he still be satisfied of owning something which may look inferior? If he's really into Sound, then we can talk! icon_rolleyes.gif

Sennheiser does have quite a lot of cheaper earphones/headphones which boast ample bass. In terms of value, I'd pick its portable headphones as it does better compared to in-ears at that price bracket.

Perhaps you could have a look at Beyerdynamic Xp series? There are 3 kinds of Sound to choose from. The looks ain't that bad, and what's more, with that budget, you can get a few more things aside from the earphones itself.

Other than that, Shure SE215 (Limited Edition) is the new-kind-on-the-block. They look professional, sure your friend could feel good with it. The sound? Sufficient bass to handle most tracks at that price.

The best so far is the Jaybird series, the sound quality on BT is the best i've heard so far and not to mention the isolation and the fit is very snug. Even if you shake your head wildly it'll still stay in your ear very tight.
For your budget you can go for the Jaybird JF3/JF4. I'm currently waiting for my Jaybird Bluebuds X to come. If you can increase your budget to RM650 then you could try taking a look at that. Even more portable and better sound quality and range.

Hey. I was wondering if there is any suitable earphones for when I go jogging or exercise? I used to use earpods but its already in a bad condition because of the sweat. I was wondering if there is any that's probably waterproof?

- iPod Nano
- Music
- Mostly mp3
- All kinds really. (rock, rap, alternative, etc)
- I guess IEM would do but anything besides circumaural headphones. Nothing too big. Portable.
- If it can look good, then it's a big plus.
- Oh, anything below RM300. Maybe RM350

Any suggestions? Thanks for helping everyone out btw smile.gif
