I am now 77% stock vs 23% cash. Will likely raise that to 100% stocks by 1Q13 latest.

Feel the urge to go bargain hunting today but decided to hold my fire. So many things coming up. This month there's Heli Ben's speech, German court decison on bond-buying, Shanghai Composite about to retest March 2009 lows. Next month is about Spain, later on it's US fiscal cliff. Then there's our own GE13.

It's the best of times, it's the worst of times.

So exciting

Me on the other hand, is finding ways to reduce my share holdings.

Thinking that our market is kinda peak now. Pending for an excuse for correction.

I am one who cares more about earning and cash flow than short term price fluctuation and dividend.
People are excited when a company declares enviable dividend; I am happy if it reports good quarterly results...

So bullish on 2013? I on the other hand will continue my current holding, will only add if there is significant discount, while waiting div every month. Up to today, I have yet to miss out on a month where I'm not paid.

Added on August 31, 2012, 4:45 pmQ report no matter how good it is, doesn't really benefit minor shareholder like us, unless it will make the stock price surge. Only div declared on the quarter that will ensure you will have money to buy food. I will still prefer div, of course, the div must be in line with the earnings.

Same feelings with you and Pana. Market is kind of peak, but the QE around the world(US and China mainly) if realize may create another super bull (be it short term or mid term)....
I start cutting down holdings on those with not so pretty qtr report or political stocks. But continue to hold others with strong profit. I'm expecting to hold 30-35% cash when waiting for GE effect on market correction.
