Agree with you Sky gor. I personally think retirement age should be around 50 or below that, although I can live with 55. The problem is now everywhere Govt keeps upgrading the retirement age, and all this contribute to jobless to the younger generations. We should just stick with the official of 55 years old and then if the person does not have enough savings or want to work for another few years, then he/she can do so. But making it official at 60, I believe we are following the US/Euro zone and if their jobless rate can go so high, eventually we will catch up.
*
Most companies prefer to hire fresh grads instead of those over 30.
I suppose you are very young. If you are over 30, you'll know how difficult it is to get a job.

One of the major issue of western countries is that they don't save, they just spend. That's why China is so rich now. It's basically these rich western economy (with high salary) giving money to China from their very high purchasing power. On the other hand, created lots of jobs for China to produce products for the westerners to buy.
Westerners don't save because they pay high taxes, and get pension in return.
Chinese save a lot partly because of traditional values, and partly because they have neither pension plan nor medical insurance coverage.

Now isn't that a much better prospect than....... (better don't say name, people so sensitive)
Plus point, Sing dollars so strong and stands a better chance to grow vs our ringgit.

A Joke about " Good Management team"  too.

No doubt , we Asians call Sony and Panamy as both having " good management teams".

But Ang Mo says  Sony has " super stubborn " management, and Panamy has "  less stubborn " management team. The story I read 2 months ago.

Quite true , recently  Panamy starts to make profit, while Sony is still losing money.

Anyway, we better  call these two Japanese co as having " good management " in order not to be backfired by other foumers.

Sony had an Ang Mo CEO, but he failed to turnaround the ailing giant...

ticket price - RM153, very cheap rclxms.gif

The 2 speakers, other than Dali, are:

(1) Tee Lin Say - face reader
I suppose the actual consultation fee will be way above the ticket price doh.gif

(2) G M Teoh - conducts regular training program on equities, derivatives, commodity trading etc.
I suppose he will only brief us on his programs. Actual training will possibly set us back a couple of thousands doh.gif

It appears Xing Quan keeps low inventory but they have a high receivables. This could mean they push their stocks off to their customers on a consignment basis.

Sound like the Just-in-time production system popularized by Toyota - keep just enough inventory to cut cost...

Brother,

Malaysia orders to China are too chicken feeds in many things from clothing to hardwares

They often reject our bolehland orders cos of too small quantities. Or else  u pay much higher prices.

U can practise Just in Time chicken feed orders  , but who cares to supply u. cool2.gif

Those days we bought diesel directly from Shell with a cost saving of 30sen/litre  over pump price, but not with one kancil load order laugh.gif
*
Toyota successfully implements Just in Time because it has bargain power again the suppliers. It fact, it own shares in some of the suppliers.
But I agree that not every company can do this...
