stock is not necessarily good... my advise use wanamlite or other rom that use as close to stock, but without the bad bits  (wanamlite added back the local search feature missing from the official)

err. why dont you just install handcent, you dont need to use the handcent as primary device, but now when you go to system > sound > choose notification sound, select handcent and it will allow you to choose mp3 as ringtone or notification tone

You too bro? I'm getting the same feeling with my phone. Kinda getting annoyed with the sticky feeling of my SGP Flex rather than the orange peel. The screen isn't as smooth as the original screen

the local search is back. stock ROM is good as it is the most stable. custom ROMs are custom so they are faster

that flex HD is really that bad huh? i just got myself the nano clear 

It's not THAT bad. Clarity is excellent (screen clarity is my #1 priority).
I just hate the fact that I could have been using the Curved Crystal SP now and say bye-bye to the orange peel effect of the flexHD.. if only SGP didn't delay the item last minute

Clarity is good. Almost as good as a naked screen. Only complaint from me is that the screen isn't smooth as the original screen. Also it seems to collect fingerprints quite easily

Where did you place your order for the Curved Crystal? Online? How much and when is the expected delivery date?
