I'm planning to update my firmware from stock to this one
I9300OXABLG8 (UK)

Just want to confirm the file size is about 770MB? And there no harm to install a UK firmware on Malaysian phone right?

I'm getting the .zip file from Sammobile now. Was expecting the size to be quite small. Didn't expect it to be more than 700MB

When you say extract into .tarmd5 format, how do I do that? Do I just unzip the file and locate the .tarmd5 file?
I've got the ODIN software redi.

Where did you get the SP from? Am thinking of changing mine...getting tired of the SGP HD Flex. Screen looks a bit funny with the orange peel effect

The screen kinda looks like the skin of an orange
They say its standard for wet application SP.

Heh...wasn't that hard to flash using ODIN. I was quite worried actually to flash...was hoping to get the OTA

You too bro? I'm getting the same feeling with my phone. Kinda getting annoyed with the sticky feeling of my SGP Flex rather than the orange peel. The screen isn't as smooth as the original screen

Clarity is good. Almost as good as a naked screen. Only complaint from me is that the screen isn't smooth as the original screen. Also it seems to collect fingerprints quite easily

Where did you place your order for the Curved Crystal? Online? How much and when is the expected delivery date?

Did you read one of the comments in the video. Apparently the user managed to scratch the SP using the squeegee given
Either the user is very rough or the SP is very thin.

I've been using side flip cases and it is quite hard to type on the phone. Unless you flip the cover all the way back
One advantage of the side flip cover is you can have the cover closed while answering a call. Your screen wont get dirty that way

Am planning to get a flip down case though...would be easier to type on the screen (I think )

Thanks for the advice. I searched for kingsoft on play store and found 2 versions. The normal one and the international one. Funny thing though the international version size is smaller than the normal version.
