Class 10 yo. Class 10  brows.gif  brows.gif

I'm running class 10 (supposedly), feels more like a class 8 to me.

And wait until you overmax the swap with multiple image/animation heavy websites.

It gets ugly. Really.

Ever seen the S3 crawl to a halt?

Admittedly, that's intentional so it doesn't count as "real world usage" lol. Normal usage wise I'm still quite happy - if it's even the swap's fault. It might be Siyah lol.

Ah the joy of flashing all sorts of weird homebrewed stuff into 2k's worth of electronics.

Hahaha... so far, it has never occured to me. I don't think I'm so hardcore though. Most of the time its like... <10 pages opened up in browser. Rarely I leave heavy games opened up... cause when I play heavy games it's like when I'm back home, lying in bed already (very rare also nowadays with the work in school).... icon_question.gif

I'm only using zram in stweaks which to me is good enough.. cause I don't think I really need like 1GB of slow swap space. just 300MBs of 'emergency' swap space so that certain programs don't completely freeze or stop running.

slow to a halt.... so far never happens la. Maybe I'll purposely stress it during the holidays (when I'm Free-er) just to see what happens. brows.gif

no effects. it simply reset the binary back to 0. so when you want to claim warranty, of course you got to unroot and restore back to the stock rom, and do a factory reset.

the samsung people will check if you tampered with the device, and will see the counter showing a 0 proving it wasn't tampered with. so you get your warranty as they cannot prove that you had tampered with it  icon_rolleyes.gif  booyAH!
do u know after rooting ur device. ur device status will be written as "modified"

it is not only the binary counter. but i guess samsung doesnt care about that as i got my phone repaired anyways

Well, ben has mentioned before that most of the reported people with rooted devices (some even didn't flash back to stock before sending) all were accepted without any real reports of a device being sent back.

AND

if you wanted to root your device... read the disclaimer eh? It does say something about this whole 'sending to SC' and 'messing up your warranty' thing right? It's really a do it at your own risk kinda thing. So, if you were one who has rooted the phone, you kinda accepted that probably you wouldn't be able to claim warranty, no? tongue.gif

ya i did a full stock flash and triangle away. no problem claiming warranty.
just saying that it's not only the Binary count that shows that ur phone has been rooted.

i changed my screen and SD card slot last week. on the same day. recommended service. but do not go during lunch time or u can take a nap, have your meal, take your bath and it is still not your turn yet rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

yeap i went twice, the 2nd time showed my CSC from my firmware was missing but he just flashed the whole thing for me, no problem

there was a reason why samsung released the source code and unlocked the bootloader for us. unlike HTC

Yes. So that we can make our devices explode and thus force ourselves to get a new Samsung smartphone to replace it.

Samsung is very sly indeed.

TBH, I'm forever thankful we don't have any of that ass off business messing up with our constant flashing.
