Anyway how did the "pro" open the door? this is proton ppl or some outsider? as far as i know preve doesnt auto lock. I feel weird. Did they upgrade the BCM software to do autolock now?

Hello friends,

Just a few questions to ask teh owner here. Idont have a preve but my father in law just bought a cvt preve(the normal one)

When i test drive hs car, whenever i accelerate from low rpm, there is this bugging sound like gggrrrrr (something vibrating) n after going past 2000rpm, its gone. I tried checking the dashboard but it seems fine, pop the hood n ask my wife to rev the engine, suspecting the airfilter box became loose, no sound came up, the engine bay didnt produce the sound, i dont know if i missed the sound. My father in law sent the car for 1k service in melaka, the replied came n the scsaid the sound is the characteristic of the iafm. Sure or not? I dont think iafm make such an awful sound, i mever been inn iafm car buti do believe iafm operation is smooth n silent, the sound that has bugging me is different, like plastic vibrating.


Question:
A. Is this normal for iafm?
B. anyone share the same sound?
C. How can we rectify it?

Ater tasting (yeah, i mean tasting) the car at bends on high speed, corners and all n comparing to my last waja on eibach n ps3, all i can say this car is superb, attacking corners at 120km/h without any sweat n this is still in stock standard from!!. f***ing awesome.

I just wish proton could up the ante by using more better materials for the plastic part, the touch n feel is not there yet, maybe its not cfe but overall this is an awesome car.

I wonder how the cfe taste like, once i was overtook by a cfe from a road nearing a corner, the way the car pulls out from the line n overtook me is fassst, he need to be fast because of the corner is nearing but he did it anyway n he took the corner without braking n man he is fast. That high degree of confidence shows that the driver n car have mutual understanding.hehe.

compare to waja of course its quiet lol. Its an outsider, they always open locks for people. LOL
He said preve's lock so hard and he has to take 15mins to open it.
And yes, it has autolock feature, but only when you unlock the car for more than 30secs without opening the doors.

how come ur key will inside?? if u opened the door then wouldt auto lock is it??maybe the bcm setting got problem...

everytime i out of car if the key inside,i sure will wind down the window 1st...very scare will autolock and key inside..last time kena at my car and fren waja...key inside door lock ,1 time at johor gelang patah rural area...have to break window glass to go in,becos cant find any pro lock opener

Added on September 1, 2012, 12:38 pmall previan..just wanna ask u something..can u rate the tyre level for standard preve tyre which is GT Radial Champiro Bax 2..i feel high probability to aquaplane in wet road..for comfort so far ok not so loud.

If compare to Yokohama S or Falken ZE ZEIX 912 which is better..

so far quite hard in my place to find 205/55/16 tyre..
oni got Falken ZE 522, Conti CC5

Actually i wanted the FALKEN AZENIS PT722 tyre...for my second tyre after standard tyre come to end life.

I think bcm got problem, proton dont know how to deal with it because this is the first time they had. Then baru call ppl go unlock it.
And yes, he said this is very hard and he has to take 15mins to open it. Normally 5mins will do. This is also good for preve that need more professional in opening the lock then can temper preve door

i tot need more time to unlock it...maybe 1 hour ke??

Anyway, when i lock the door, the side mirror didn't fold. How to let it sync back?

Can never go wrong with michelin ps3. Wet or dry. Grip is superb. Tyre never squeal when pushed hard (maybe i didnt push hard enough). These gt radial squeals alot.

Fyi if tyre squeals, sounds cool but actually the tyre has lost grip and that is never good.
