Hmm, sometimes my signal strength 90% above also can DC lo =.=

Modem placed near window, tested with Huawei E219 and E172. Same. Sometimes speed slowed, but speed still acceptable

ohh this is unfortunate.... speed when it's fine is amazing (for broadband) 4mbps no problem but when is fails (7pm-12am) it's horrible. ... Maybe it's slow cause traffic is at the most around this time?

Umobile is using the latest 42Mbps infrastructure and you use an old school 7.2Mbps modem with it sweat.gif

Yes, speed is location dependent smile.gif

You might be in a congested location but one thing for sure is your single cell modem is not taking full use of Umobile upgraded signature dual carrier network best and first in malaysia wink.gif

Town unfortunately. I was told by the CS that they're using Maxis tower here, so that's probably Maxis's problem.

If using Maxis dont expect high speed. Maxis is overly congested right now.

They dont even able to fix own customer issue for sure they ignores MVNO

Are you saying that the speed is fantastic if only we upgrade the modem? In any case, the speed is super horrible even when I am getting full bar. Any alternate choice with high quota and cheap?

It depends on the tower you connected.

If it is a Maxis tower then never expect for nice speed but if it is a Umobile tower, anything lower than 10Mb is slow.

If it is a Umobile tower just upgrade your modem but for sure a newer and better modem would be able to provide you with better speed.

Design in new modem is better smile.gif

1st umobile usually got no big different either peak hour or non peak hour b4 with celcom right ?
but why now with maxis got such problem
1st you all must understand that when you start enjoying umobile broadband, it is a mvno with celcom for few years, the system linkage is sure not that much problem compare to maxis that available only since this october, so there is no other choice for them to upgrade or you expect they close the maxis coverage to fix it,
the situation would be you expect a smooth and good high way or MRT, without jamming when they close the street for the construction, you can't blame anything but just wait right cry.gif we are not that ADVANCE COUNTRY

same case for streamyx and unifi, you can't expect streamyx get unifi speed with not upgrading

yup this is the fact
when you get the whole picture of the story then you might understand
1st. new telco or new product ( eg DIGI broadband)
honeymoon fast, cheap, just like a newly built highway, no lubang, smooth and enjoyable
2nd. more and more consumers, but nothing upgraded
honeymoon gone, speed drop, but still cheap, just like the good highway every1 coming to use, start jam bit
3rd. more than enough consumers, but still nothing upgraded, but seems like gonna upgrade
the street got lubang, jam like shit, but the toll fee no reduced, ppl start complaning
4th. WHAT TO DO ?
you may choose another smooth a bit highway that higher toll fee ( but i don't think got better)
or choose another same highway for same JAM

why like that ? our country look like advance but not, admit that

haha just try to giving some good energy... linkage with maxis tower really got some problem, internal support mention system still not stable

1st question, not promise that you can get high speed too doh.gif
2nd question, asked too many times but i still think that umobile is the cheapest and highest quota (not promising always provide the best service), guys don't compare with singapore, we are at least 10 years outdated than their country, but you expect same speed of internet with same cheap price, impossible, if you compare with indonesia you got your speed bro, at least far away from 56k and streamyx for the old day
