Just did speedtest at 9pm with Maxis Prepaid. 5Mbps DL and 1.3Mbps UL. Ping is 50ms.

I only need fast speed,1Mbps is ok for me.But Umobile really suck at night( and day time recently).Worse,they totally ignore customers's complaint,and even ignore MCMC. Never see such arrogant telco. Honestly now they offer me 50% off I also don't want

For postpaid,all telco price abt the same for 4-5GB plan. But UMobile 20GB plan is very attractive

UMobile broadband has capacity problem in many urban area.This was confirmed by their sunway branch. I complained abt no/slow internet since Feb,and till today,Umobile dare not even reply me. THey know many customers face same problem,esp from 8-10pm.

I already terminate Umobile and move to Maxis

Speedtest at 11.55am at subang. Test is at highrise. If I go to ground level,can get close to 10mbps ( using 21Mbps Mifi)

So far no complaint about Maxis,but too early to say they are good. First 2 months with U Mobile,theie speed also ok

Actually my problem with maxis is their super fast speed that drain all my data.Sometimes I watch youtube,and for 10 mins video,it is done within 2-3 mins.Even I watch few mins,and stop watching,it already finish download all content

If you have modem,just buy prepaid Maxis broadband sim card( think is RM8) with 50MB data

Three months after I complained to Umobile and MCMC,today I received their reply.UMobile admitted congestion which led to no internet from 8-10pm. If they have planned maintenance,why don;t they tell me?Answer I got is MAYBE congestion or no discruption

then you realise DiGi have better customer service.

UMobile is the worst.
Postpaid customer twice and still customer service is really shiiiit to bottomless pit.
Never get back to you at all.

100% agreed. I always received answer from Digi within 48 hours( sometimes <24 hours).But Umobile,it took them 75 days to reply my complaint.That also I complaint kuat kuat to MCMC

Like to share my experience on Umobile

Now Umobile admittted my area had connection problem at night from Feb-end Apr. But they proposed 15 days ( MB15) internet as compensation to me.This also come with condition I activate or top up my prepaid account

2.5 months no internet at night,and only give me back 15 days internet?Think I am beggar?

Of course I rejected their offer. Now they come back to offer MB68 free ( 5 gb for 30 days). I accept this but I am not going to top up or activate my prepaid (which i plan to throw away )

I now use maxis prepaid with umobile mifi (zte). So far speed is good,min 3mbps,can go up to 8-9 Mbps download. Upload about 1.5mbps

Only problem is sometimes when I want to buy pass(daily or weekly),need to try few times

i was so pissed, i drove to the nearest maxis center at 8pm and requested to be ported back. 9pm message came from maxis, port process started. 9.15pm another message came saying declined due to overdue payment. WTF? how is it overdue? current yes but overdue? so, i called up u mobile. again went through hell talking to a girl who didnt know what was porting and she hung up the call.

more pissed, i logged on their self service portal. found the amount i needed to pay. and paid. called maxis and told payment done ask them t redo the port. today another message came saying porting declined because of overdue payment.

called umobile - i have current payment of rm4.05 that i made last nite to maxis that i need to settle, like seriously. Umobile = 100% bullsht. I wanted to ask then wtf about free calls and sms and all that but decided no point talking to a bunch of donkeys.

you guys think u-mobile is great. but wait till u have an issue with your bill, line or whatever. I just wish you good luck. stay away from them.

You are lucky. I went personally to Umobile branch at sunway to follow up my complaint.Their answer is ' pls call our customer service'. Told them called many times but no one pick up the call

After 4 months of complaint,Umobile still very slow in their reply. Asked them question on twitter,they blocked me. What the Fxxk is this?No internet for 2 months at night,and Umobile only agreed to offer me 1 month free internet.Worse I have to active prepaid card ( I have one but inactive).After so much trouble with Umobile,I am not that stupid to activate my Umobile prepaid card

Today call SKMM,and officer told me I deserved to be compensated as Umobile clearly put in their email they had problem with their network during Feb-Apr. SKMM already advise Umobile to expedite the case,but Umobile is damn stubborn. Can you imagine I first complained in Feb ( to both UMobile and SKMM),they only gave me answer May 10. 2-3 calls then stop calling when I still waiting for their free 1 month internet

I am in Subang area and faced slow internet at night since Feb. I already terminated U Mobile. Thank god I made wise decision
