That's the thing like i mention in my earlier post i do not know how to ride bike as never learned due to had seen some freak accidents with bike when i was small and had phobia on it.

Currently i am staying in Klang and need to travel to KL which also allow's me to wake up early as there would be Jam build up if i'm late.

None of the colleague is staying around my place for me to Car Pool as can reduce the burden by half.

Even tried to check on public transport but not avail at that early morning.

I have few colleagues also doing the same thing like you do
travel from Klang everyday...damn horrifying for me
salute them thumbup.gif

Any construction engineers (specifically M&E) here, in their early 30s earning more than 10k/month?
I'd like to get some feedback on how to achieve this....

Converted to RM or not? Converted should be no problem?

If employee then managerial position. For contractor side - project manager, operation manager, technical manager etc etc.

If own boss then work harder.
*
no conversion la, in Malaysia
dun talk bout working overseas...different scene ma

Foreign assignment means working abroad earning the company's global salary band although paid through Malaysian Bank. Tax free. Not attached to any malaysian entity under IRB. Cheers.

I thought the industry also one of the factor. I heard even the operators earn much more than normal ppl in other industry.
Not sure wat he does but document controller is like quality department controlling all those document which can be approve and not right? That 1 not kinda high responsibility job?
*
to my understanding, document controller just handle the documents
they don't approve anything
check to ensure the document number is right, keeping the document properly, update in the register
things like that

*
that is not power, that's just checking to ensure the document is in order

guys....
i received job offer
the increment just around rm200-300...

is it worth it to accept?
*
if the increment is from RM900 to RM1200, you are talking about 33% increment
which is a lot!

but if it's from RM5000 to RM5300, that's only 6%

anyhow, it depends on you
does the RM300 worth the hassle of settling down at a new place, new environment, new ppl, new management, new job scope?
you have to decide on that

we cannot help you on that

M&E should be 2 ppl leh. Why they combine together ah? C&S also.
C, S, M, E. 4 different field.

Next time developer want cut cost C&S combine with M&E become CSME, one people do all...
*
yes, by right it should be 2 ppl
but so far...in construction, usually the 1 person will do both. M and also E.
if can do both then definitely more sought after ma...

Job Title : Construction Manager in Vietnam
Years spent in company : 4 years
Age : 35
Industry : Construction / Real-Estate / Developer
Working experience: close to 12 years, started of after local univ.
No of previous employer: 3 local msian company, 1 sg-german, ( currently vn-hk)
Salary : RM4.5k official + RM4.5K cash

I think I am way underpaid...
Any comments / ideas ?
*

[/q uote]
*
I think 9k for a manager posted oversea is a bit low.
the 4,5k can be considered as the base salary n the additional 4.5k will be your oversea allowance
which translates to 1.5k USD for ur expenditure there

personally, i think it's kindly low
