As freedom of opinion and expression, We welcome constructive comments and criticism so that we can improve our services and correct any misconduct by our members,
BUT subject to limitation that any remarks and statement must NOT be inflammatory, malicious, and defamatory.
In that event, Mc-Ocean shall reserve our right to take appropriate legal action against those bloggers.
We respect Lowyat.Net Forum Rules & Regulations, we are NOT trying to go into business communication in this forum that might be misconstrued as advertising. Therefore, should there be any doubts or feedback, please forward your queries to Mc-Ocean Management email: mcocean.hq@mcocean.com, or , director@mcocean.com
Thank you.
Well well, there's a lot yet to be justified from your end, from all your statements and action. Where are your "ex-lawyer" KPs??
Your statement: "any remarks and statement must NOT be inflammatory, malicious, and defamatory." ?
To constitute defamation, a claim must generally be false. Additionally, from Cambridge Dictionary:-
Defame- to damage someone’s or something’s reputation by saying or writing bad things that are not true. So, what action you want take when bloggers are just exposing and revealing all misconduct and wrongdoings of your member, all the frauds that happened in your business process and operation, which are TRUE?
and,
1. Where and HOW did you obtain the forum's user's ID, email & Personal Contact Number?
2. Did you have the consent of the forum user before obtaining the above information?
3. Can you justify the legality your action of OBTAINING AND REVEALING the user's identity?
Many ex members had been reported being threatened by the owner of this number, some information in this contact suggested to have certain connection with Mc Ocean.
Hence, as we can see, (and can we say that?) mcocean is now suspected to
1) Obtain someone's information as such WITHOUT consent, and maybe through suspicious methods.
2) Conduct threat through WhatsApp.
3) Deny individuals' right to freedom of speech.Behave yourself, mcocean.
