I don't know if that product still exists, cos it's probably 15 years old There may be improved versions in the market.

When the CVT light appears, the car will go into safe mode. Means everything is working normally, except the ECU will limit your RPM and your speed.

Send it to SC to check the error code soon. It will be stored in the TCU/ECU, so the SC can find out exactly what caused it.
