I fully agree with you. One of the worser roms i have tested. The developer however praises it like it is the best !!!
I don't see any butter effect ; infact it is laggier than  many other roms i have tested

i do agree that, not really smooth, i can see them pack a lot of features into it but then not smooth doh.gif

Is the Nexus still worth getting at the end of the year? Currently overseas but coming back at the end of the year and thinking of buying it.

Actually, just wondering whether it's still future-proof in terms of hardware/software. I want to use the phone for at least 2 years before being done with it lol.

Aih. As expected. This is what I don't like about smartphones. Forever 'improving' their products while shortening product life cycle.

Ah well, I might wait for the next Google phone then.

You need quadcore A9 or dual core A15/dual core Snapdragon S4 to be future proof.

i disagree, it depends on the developers, if they dont write apps for quadcore or higher end duo core it doesnt matter if you have one core or more.

anyway thanks for the reply just now lol

You can't disagree. Current dual core S3 or A9 really hitting the limit and do get bottleneck. Not to say it's not enough but it's just up to what is considered sufficient. To be future proof, I'd suggest Quad core or Next generation processors: S4 or Cortex A15.
