same here. with s3, url, youtube are ok. large file beam need wifi-direct. but already try connect 1st wifi-direct, able to connect but no option to send via.

i guess google need to fix this, because picture n vid is a basic things..beaming feels like old school, during nokia day, used infrared to transfer file

I guess this is not google issue that require fix. will meet my gnex fren to confirm, should work as JB changelog mention now support picture and file transfer. As I remember, someone confirm before here, "Android Beam" (gnex) is not fully compatible with "S-Beam" (s3).

Nice price...but to install this myself will be all waste. I not good in sticking thing.

TPU casing suck, the power button and volume button are so sensitive because of the rubber protruding out.

You should try if that bricks your device.
If I'm not wrong, it's flashable but you can't make calls can't make sms etc. And many other problems. Better don't try.
Toro is LTE version. No way it can be fully supported by Maguro, the GSM Version.

blame samsung. Google should be the 1 governance entire android eco-system, all oem smartpahone should follow. hopefully, in one day Google enforce it and make "Android Beam" as standard communication protocol. I believe in all next coming devices, NFC is standard feature must have in all smartphone (I know, Japan already ahead WW in many years ago)
