Have you flashed CWM Recovery?

If yes...
1. Power off, boot into fastboot menu.
2. Press Volume up to Recovery, Press Power to select.
3. Wait...
4. Find the backup options.
5. It will slowly load load load and backup in your internal storage. The backup for my 4.1 previously was about 1.7GB.

If no...
Try GNex toolkit. I'm not sure how the Toolkit backup. Not sure whether you need to flash CWM or it will just fastboot the cwm image without permanently flashing.

by default, reporting your location is auto. I disable it, so the map won't always locate us, which is drain more battery.

on r217, im getting 2 hr and 30min max with 1 bar 3g signal on screen time

everything works except the data toggle button, systemUI FC when u toggle it

was on 6.0 havent tried 6.1
not sure toolkit can do it..
u can be hero and try it 1st
im sure toolkit can choose to flash or just locate the cwm files in the installation and replace it with 6.1 then flash normally.

Hey guys I'm on official jb now. Why can't o receive mentions from Twitter? No notification pops up like my S2, and facebook is laggu at times till I end the app and restart it

If anyone is helpful and free enough can do me a factory nandroid yakjuxw? I didn't backup for that and now no way to back to yakjuxw from yakju.

Problem is I can't enable the notifications on Twitter settings.

Well, I had a series of bad experience with the phone, not sure what caused it though.

I was jogging with the phone with earphones plugged in using the nike app, and suddenly it crashed (screen hangs and the music playing keeps reloop). I wrapped the phone in a ziploc bag to ensure that no moisture can go into the phone, and i double checked the ziploc bag later to find that no sign of moisture ever entered the bag.

So back to the phone, once it crashed, i had to pull battery to shut it off. After that, my device will boot to show that I have 0% battery and shut down right after that. After several tries, it wouldn't even boot pass the google screen. But i noticed that whenever i slot the battery in, the notification light will bilnk in red at various pace.

Tried rebooting alot of times, then tried boot into recovery mode and wipe data and tried again. Finally it boots and I managed to make it work again. But another problem still entrails. The phone thinks that my earphone is perpetually plugged in. Therefore all my media sounds do not work - eg. phone call can only work via loudspeaker, music player don't play, youtube don't play, notification sounds do work though. Those sounds that do not work will come through when i plug in my headphones though.

So i did a series of reset bla bla bla and finally it worked again. Then i started to notice that the battery life of the phone became worse. Initially i was able to get through a day without any problem at all, with at least 20% battery left. Now, my phone will become dead by 3-4pm. Tried recalibrating the battery, improved a lil bit. so i suspect is the kernel's fault - so thats why I want to flash it back to stock kernel and hope for the best.

Oh and 1 more thing, my USB connection does not work (no response from any computer after plugged in) since the fiasco, until 2 days ago, when i plugged in the USB cord, the connection worked but it keeps connects and disconnect.

Well you see, since I had USB connection problems, I might have a problem unrooting it. Haha, so I am trying to get it work again, flash back to stock, unroot, then try my luck with warranty service.
