well, you can look around for a 2nd hand Minolta 17-35 f2.8-4 HEREif you really want to pair the a99 with a UWA.

ermm some threads i saw offered at 1.3k. that's really really cheap. maybe above 1.5k? still a loooooooooooooooot cheaper than the CZ16-35 but it also depends on your luck la whether you get mint lens or not.

ah well. you won't get the whole picture and the pleasure of using the EVF and tilt screen when the camera is mostly chained to the stand.

Shot this yesterday for an event using a Sony a77 with the autofocus turned on and editted with windows movie maker. Seems like the quality had been degraded :/ Time to look for alternative video editors. The AF works very well at tracking the subjects but the downside is if i point at the background it will immediately defocus. It was also partly my fault that I didn't turn on the face detection mode (a feature which works remarkably well in EVF ).

erm that's not what i really meant.. you could also choose a nicer foreground la.. up to your creativity..

18-55, 85 f2.8, 35mm would probably fall under SAM v2.. the v3 one would be 18-135mm. they are not the same.. at least in terms of their AF noise..
