ier, thanks for the lesson, didn't noticed that the grass also can reflect "green" to the face...I read on the review site for A99, it seems that its confirmed the memory card can perform dual save, with one card in jpg and the other in RAW, just wondering what are the benefit that we can gain of this??

OK, this is weird. I checked my old pics but they don't seem overexposed. If someone turned up the brightness on my screen then my old pics should seem overexposed but they looked just fine.

Anyone with a calibrated screen can tell me if they looked under?

Sensor size = 35.9x24.0mm
168.467 pixels/mm x 168 pixels/mm

A99 = 6000x4000 JPG, 24000000 pixels = 24 megapixels
Divided by 1.5x = 4000x2666 = 10666666 pixels = 10.6 megapixels
However the specs say that APS-C mode is:
3936x2624 = 10328064 pixels = 10.3 megapixels
Sensor size = 35.8x23.8mm
167.59 pixels/mm x 168.07 pixels/mm

A77 = 6000x4000 JPG, 24000000 pixels = 24 megapixels
Sensor size = 23.5x15.6mm
APS-C multiplier = 36/23.5 x 24/15.6 = 1.532x1.538

If the A99 was to crop to the exact sensor size of the A77, it should be:
6000*23.5/35.8 x 4000*15.6/23.8 = 3938x2621 = 10321498 = 10.3 megapixels

I need some urgent help here!

I'm a sony a35 user.
I've tried to record movie in AVCHD format, it works but I couldn't find the video file in my memory card after I recorded a video clip.. Ironically, the video clip can be replayed in my camera, I just couldn't find it in my memory card folders (in computer).....!

My 8gb memory card has 4 folders
- DCIM >> (all the RAW/Jpeg photo files)
- MISC
- MP_ROOT>> (.mp4 videos will appear here after recording.. but i just couldn't find the file when I record it in AVCHD format.. weird.. the folder name exist, but there's nothing inside the folder?? Example: 112AVN01)
- PRIVATE

Dude.... you need to engage the DRO functionality in your camera. In fact, you are using the a57, so i think it even has a built-in auto-HDR functionality! These functions will save your shots, albeit only available in jpeg mode lah. But still, I think it is quite a good feature set.
