its the same design/shape. just added new connector contacts for future accessories uses. the hotshoe is 100% backward compatible.

U can try Minolta 28mm F2.0 for fixed focal lens too...

if you think 35mm is wide.... then the 35mm F1.4G has some pretty decent bokeh. wink.gif
