To A57 owner...
The rear LCD comes with screen protector ?
Do u remove the orange sticker ?
Shutter speed for SS on & off is same ? 1/160sec ?
I thought if SS off can boost shutter speed a little bit more...
Thx...

if i recall, its only apply to the old body of FF, on/200, off/250

if u wan to stick SP, u have to remove that orange stick... my case, i cant remove that sticker, so i have to cut the SP to fit the size.

You mean when the camera is on the hot shoe or? Try using an alcohol swab or an eraser to rub the hot shoe. Also, when you put the flash into the hot shoe does your shutter speed increase to 1/160?
*
The flash is on the camera.. When i put it on, it only indicates the "flash" signal on the camera, with an orange dot beside it, and the shutter speed can still be adjusted around beyond 1/160

QUOTE(ieR @ Sep 25 2012, 06:08 PM)
did u ever drop your camera? (even dropping camera on the floor or throwing it on the seat in the car) can cause shock. maybe camera issue, that ur normal fire(fillflash) signal is missing.
*
Never dropped, its pretty new like 3-4 months old only =\

I am a bit bored so I'll start a discussion topic. For those of you that know me, you guys know that my discussion topics are for discussion only and there's no right or wrong answers. Just curious to know about different views and opinion. So feel free to put your thoughts down. smile.gif

Today's topic : Why Do You Want a Leica / Hasselblad / <whatever prestigious brand in camera> ?

All of us here suffer from 'Gear Lust' to some degree. Some have it especially bad while some are quite mild. We all lust after one thing or another when it comes to photography gears but there's this notion that somehow, some prestigious brands hold some kind of revered place in the photography world. If you are a photo enthusiast worth your salt you will personally know of some photo enthusiast that yearns for a Leica camera or a Hasselblad camera. Why is this? We all know that having the most expensive gears does not necessarily mean you can get better pictures so why yearn for those cams or lenses?

If money's not an object, would you get a Leica or a Hassy or whatever? We know that some pros use these for some specific reasons such as they need the resolution of a medium format cam or they have a collection of lenses that they can use but what about us? Why do we need those?

What are your thoughts on this? biggrin.gif
