Well...most statues also around the same price .... Prime 1 has better quality in the sculpt, material and finishing for sure.

u need much bigger space and its easily 1k-2k more than normal SS statues

Prime1 seems go be getting lots of love these days, collectors dun mind paying extra for more quality and bigger scale

Meanwhile the cheaper brands seem to have lost the steam

As for me, it all comes to price and budget....rm2k a piece is too rich for me....decided to quit hobby for now

XM Studios items are quite hard to get....

u r rite. and bcos they limited to certain quantity only. i've pre ordered mine during STGCC last year.

If I'm not mistaken, there were lots of controversy of Xm studios being sold out quickly but most of the ebay scalpers/sellers were all from SG. despite being good and high in demand, done collectors boycott.due to this.

everything also got scalpers lo. regardless is statues, hot toys, lego, nike shoe all got scalpers. How XM studio to identify who is scalpers who is not? XM studio also dun care so much as long as all their products sold out.

The issue was/is not the existence of scalpers but rather how almost all of XM scalpers originate from SG.

Xm supply chain is flawed. Nothing gets thru to the end customers, in fact my guess is the retailers/distributors are doing the scalping themselves.

Just look at malaysia's one and only official distributor Lil Monsters in jaya, they bring in nothing at all for customers.

No point trying to po xm from any local retailers. Better chance from sg retailers

I have had experience with shioktoys also, my xm po never came thru giving excuse supplier no news. They probably kept it for themselves or someone in the supply chain did.

That aside...another rant of statue market....

The ringgit drop and gst also worsen the business ethics of retailers. Old PO prices are not honoured at all, giving excuses of limited supply in market blah blah blah

Ive cancelled all POs from these dirty retailers...might as well since quitting hobby

Need to have better promos like special preorders or con-exclusives.

Agree. Komik Kon was a big fail , mayb bcos they used the name "comic con" so expectations were damn high but i think the organizers were not experienced enuff.
