Hi long time never been here..... a normal 12v dc adapter(Jln pasar got plenty) is more than enought ald and the price also cheap.I think handphone charger is still not enought lah the voltage is not hi enought(~5-7v) only, unless ur fan(normal fan 12v) is small voltage 1 lah.

QUOTE(sniper on the roof @ Apr 1 2007, 08:32 PM) Just bought this stand.... it's not DIY but just share share niah. It does nuts to the temps but better for ergonomics...easier to type. Bro where u buy this ?? how much ?And it rotates 360 degrees The cons is that it's plasticky. http://www.jetart.com/style/content/CN-02c...=16111&id=71154 Edit again... Just realised rojakpot got review http://www.techarp.com/showarticle.aspx?artno=378&pgno=2 |

guys, i'm planning to do my own cooler pad but i'm wondering, if i buy the vizo 80mm fan with speed of 5800rpm, is a 12v adapter enough for me to get the maximum speed?and btw, i know there's a few compaq v3000 user here complaining bout the heat..i have an idea actually..if you guys notice the hole for the gc fans(at the top left bottom of your laptop), its only open for 1/4..if you guys can poke the rest of the holes(meaning full circle),it can suck in more air into the GC..logically it will la but i havent done it cause i dont have the right tools to do it..maybe some of you can try..cheers..

Well.I'm too lazy to mod another casing with small pretty fans considering the fact i have one laptop cooler already. So I just bought one 240V AC fan and blow my laptop.Manage to cool the hard drive from operating temp of 47 C to 38 C. O yea.My fan is damn noisy though.
