Do you feel that after installed..when the air cond compressor kick in will not so obvious?
*
I think I'm either quite thick or my unit isn't that much of a lemon. Even before installing VS, I don't notice much with my aircond. Sure, there will be some drain in engine power when compressor kicks in but that's expected. Nobody complains that Proton ariconds not being cold enough. So compressor should be appreciably powerful.

What does your unit feel like when aircond kicks in?

One thing I notice (or is this a placebo effect) is where previously I get lousy radio reception with Hitz or MixFM, there seems to be improvements. Car does ride very smoothly but I'm wondering if that's the effect from Ron97.

bought my VS from Eric too. didn't notice any difference after 2 weeks of use.

the VS is now in a 12 years old kelisa. i can see immediate effect where the headlights are brighter and the gears appear to shift smoother and faster.

I'm a Proton owner. This next bit isn't bashing but it's one of the stuff we have to put up with some Proton personnel. This is from youtube showing an irate Proton customer.

Maybe it works better for conventional A/T where they can actually feel the gear shift shock. Preve is a CVT with virtual gearing. If it works for A/T, then it should work for CVT. Maybe the feel isn't as apparent as expected to be? There could be performance gains but the CVT smoothes/smothers it out. Alternately, it could also mean Preve is better designed than the 12 year old Kelisa.

Ya lor. That's the trouble with some dealers. We pay real money or get saddled with real debt. That's the difference between Proton vs Toyota/Honda. When there's a problem, don't act like not your problem and walk away. You do get paid. So earn your salary/commission and be of real service to your customers.

Folks,

Anyone notice of some minor gap on the mud guard cover on the front of the passenger side of Preve? Mine have some gap. Why the parts do not fit nicely?

Hey all.

Getting my car this coming monday. Already planned a list of this to add on to the car.

1) Soundproof rubber strip from faifai as his design is the latest one. Although he recommended the small D instead of the big D strip. Anyone can recommend which would be better? Small or big?

2) Chrome lining at the window for a more executive feel. And mybe the wheel arches as well, but a fine example would be like the Honda Accord.

3) Q-Max 3 point grounding (photo conductor). Might be a test mule for this and will write a review on it later. VS I will decide later on.

4) Lastly, a fine coat of Sierra glow on the car.

Do share any experience on all this mods if you have done them and recommend other mods that can be done on the Preve.

Thanks.

My ride......... car is dirty havent wash for few days  sweat.gif So far so good, no complaint from me except still need to get used to the sluggishness when move from stand still. Petrol consumption is on the high side 11.6l/100km due to stuck in the causeway jam so no complain from me. No owv issue, no rusty exaust pipe, alignment ok, no gluk gluk or what ever sound just that engine sound are kinda loud to me but i can live with that. Love the multilink suspension and the smoothness of the car on the highway. Superb ride and handling  rclxms.gif . Chasis Number 41xx cheers.......

One seller in automotive garage is selling the chrome lining. Have to DIY yourself.
