The tweaking is there, it really depends on which signature you slightly prefer, whether it's from Beyerdynamic or AK.

But for T1, i will still go for 600ohm anytime, the headphone is meant to drive with good source.

The T1 just sounds better (faster) for rock and similar genres. I prefer the bass out of the LCD-2, and it sounds heavenly with complex orchestral music especially. The Audeze can have a bit of a darker sound signature, but really it depends on your preference. As someone said, different sound signatures, I swap them depending on mood. The T1 is very competent, haven't wanted to sell it yet. Btw, mine is the 1st gen, and also LCD2.2F

It really depend on your usage, if you prefer something more portable and bass oriented, DTX350m is a good choice, if you prefer balance, big sound stage, open air effect, DTX910 is your go.

I have one DTX910 just for purely computer use, amazed by the quality, balance and open of the sound.

I wanted to try an open back headphone.

I have a Cayin C5 Dac and will use mainly for Music (Spotify) & Gaming.

Would you guys recommend DT 990 Pro for these 2 purposes?

I'm currently running my DT 880 Premium (250ohm) with only Cayin C5 DAC and it sounds great!!!

Clear vocals and good separation for a semi-opened headphone. I don't find the high is too loud like others reviewer said...

Audited DT 990 Premium (250ohm), dislike it due to vocal having bass. Sounded weird... hence I went for DT 880.

Planning to upgrade my desktop Amp/DAC. Eyeing Aune X1s

i still blinking on the 1.2

me started with DT880 then T90 then T1.2 ...
tried the T1 years back but did not like it..but when i auditioned the T1.2 i purchased it on the spot.
i also notice people complaint about the mid but you should try it with mojo...problem solved.

I have no problem with the mids. It sounds slightly thicker and warmer than before due to the elevated bass.

Mojo is damn good. I was really hooked on to it the last time I tried. Wait salary faster come come!

sometimes i use Fiio E12 DIY opa627 + buf634 combo to pair with T1.2
the warm opa627 really compliment T1.2 u should try it.!!

Finally got my T1.Gen2, after comparing both the older and new generation, i'm slightly fond on the Gen2, more trimmed on treble and slight punch on low frequency, now it has become a all rounder headphone for me.

It is decent sounding but I feel like it last power. Could an amp/tube amp benefit the sound in terms of a warmer, less piercing sound and larger soundstage?
