Just purchased a Byron BTA awaiting for delivery. Hopefully it does not disappoint, was considering between the BT and BTA and thought to just go all out and get the highest end of the Byron models.

Is Beyerdynamic Byron BT suitable for medium sport wear? Doest it waterproof or sweat proof?

Thinking to get 1 wireless for music purpose and some GYM/Cycling purpose.

no sweat proof lo but sound quality very good in that price range
you may consider jaybird x3 or jvc ha -et50bt

Do you re-terminate the stock cable to 4.4mm jack? Since you use WM1A/1Z

Using the Sony Kimber 4.4 cable now, works well

Yup got he Jaybird X3 last month. So far so happy with the sound quality.

Does the DT770 leak sound for you guys?
It seems to leaak quite a bit for a closed back headphone. I think its bad enough that I actually using IEM where i wouldve prefered to use the DT770. ( office for example )
Any solution? does making it clamp hard helps?

Anyways, amazing pair of headphones, in my humble personal opinion, better and more resolving than T1 but not as full bodied and authoritative, in most cases, as the T1 unless you pair it (DT 1990) to a good amp like say HA-300 then it will open up to be full bodied holographic and have ultra precise imaging.

Would highly recommend to fellow Beyer owners wanting to upgrade.

Best part: Comes with 2 earpads, Analytical pads for a more neutral analytical sound and Balanced pads for a slightly more full bodied bass heavy sound.

I personally always use A pads, it has a more precise imaging and better linearity and extensions on either ends.

Hi dt880 user here.

Just wonder if anyone knows where i cn purchase genuine dt880 replacement pads? Because i read somewhere b4 that 3rd party pads might actually change the sound signature of the 880s

Damn! I already bought DT 770 Pro 32ohm version...kinda short on cash, so i kinda could not buy any dac/amp and choose 32ohm version instead of 80 ohm or 250 ohm...ayam has a sadding
