Hi all............any good amp for DT990 Pro 250ohm?
i'm using O2/ODAC amp.....

i am using DACport to drive it...surprisingly warm and detailed....

just wondering, how many ppl here got COP? Anyone printing customise plate or art?

Not sure if anyone's aware but Massdrop is having an all black version of Beyer's DT880/990 600 ohm version on drop. Looks pretty sweet looking.

I believe O2/ODAC is pretty sufficient for 250ohm.

aha, great job man, actually you can remove each part and spray your own color, to be a fully customise headphone for you.

Guys wanna ask if it is possible to repair/check my custom one pros, the bass suddenly GONE, already sent for warranty twice and got a new set and suddenly this problem appears.

Tested both T1.1 and T1.2, at the end tapao the T1.1

Bass suddenly gone usually is grounding issue, and i don't think is the "headphone" itself problem, i bet it will be the detachable cable.

How is it 1st gen vs 2nd?

Coming from Audio Technical AD1000X, below is my opinion.

TL'DR, T1.2 has louder sound presentation, ear piercing. T1.1 is smoother , flatter signature.

Long version:
If you compare both cans side by side with same amp/song, you will immediately notice T1.2 has louder sound. However, seems like it is trying to bring up all the available sounds, you will have hard time hearing the instrument separation. The vocal is much more heavier/darker/stronger albeit a little bit synthetically, ear-piercing to me. Feel fatigue after ~1 hour of music, too much sounds pushing toward me.

For T1.1, overall is flatter but very natural sounds. Since there is no over emphasis on any particular sounds, you should be no problem hearing instrumental separation. Can hear for long period of time, vocal is a bit too soft, as compared to my AD1000X which the vocal is basically sugar-coated. Since i prefer a more relaxing can, i went for T1.1 If i want a more engaging can, can always go back to my AD1000x.

Thanks for that, ear piercing sound is my image towards Beyer cans, especially DT880pro, but T1 + Hugo TT give me good impression. And now with 2nd gen which c/w detachable cable. Make me so tempted to buy except the price (RM5xxx)
