How does the Beyer T1 sounds if compared to headphones like HD650, Hifiman HE5, Alessandro MS PRO, Shure SRH840, or DT770 Pro 250ohm. These are the only headphones that I still vividly remember the sound.

Does the T1 really need good amp to shine, for example if plug it on mobile players it'll sound horrible like that.

I don't think any audiophile cans above 32 Ohms should be driven directly from an iPhone without an amplifier. Even if it is a DT770 running at 250 Ohms. You will get volume but not the dynamics to truly showcase what the headphone is capable of. The T1 is a very capable headphone and with a high current amp. You'll be in audio nirvana. If your budget permits. The WA7 and the T1 is a match made in heaven.

How does T1 compared with the HE6 and SRH840?

The T1 runs rounds round the SRH840. The HE6 however. Is a different story. If I could keep only one headphone for home use exclusively. I would opt for the HE6. But that would be exclusively for home use. Because the HE either needs to be driven by seriously powerful headphone amps or speaker amps. The cheapest headphone amp that I know that can drive the HE6 is the HiFiMan EF6 which is USD1,499. Along with the Cavali Audio Liquid Gold USD4,000 ALO Studio Six USD3,900 and the RSA Darkstar USD3,999 to name a few. Or speaker amps. So you get the idea that the HE6 is exclusively for home use. But if I were to only have one headphone for the do it all in terms of desktop and travel then it would be one of the Audezes.
But in terms of the SQ, the T1 has a very good soundstaging and sounds oh so good for live songs and live recordings. The HE6 however has a speaker like presentation to it. That you see many guys who win the HE6 are actually HiFi Guys for them to use at night because they can't listen to their speakers at night.
But I wouldn't recommend the HE6 unless you really know what you're doing. Amping the HE6 is a nightmare. And it was for me too in the beginning.
