46K DPS and those gems... mie eyes!!!

I couldn't find any good gears pre-104 patch.
With the current patch, I have found Manticore & Zunimassa's Marrow at A3 Inferno.

Yeap, 1000DPS with 2 sockets.
I sold it on the next day at AH for 200M (I got 170M after 15% service tax).

You are stuck in progressing A4?
Or
You are stuck in upgrading gears?

Assuming you want to spam LPSS.

I don't see LPSS in your skill.
I don't see +LPSS in your gears too (weapon & helm).

How are you going to spam LPSS?

5 deaths per run is okay for me.
Considering you don't have LOH.

Are you able to farm at A3? If yes, go farm at A3.
You get better gears there.

IMO, LOH weapons could be quite cheap. Look for spear & mace.
I have couple of 900+ LOH weapon for sale. Let me know if you want it.

FastCow weapon?

2 barbs & 2 monks is the best.
If one of the barbs forgets to cry, you have another one.
Well, WW-Tornado Barbs run fast and they are always miles ahead of you, you can't even hear the war cry.

Co-op or solo?
Belial is easy.

You have serenity. You have 7ss. You have tons of healing skills.
You should whack him like a boss.

What are the skills you used?

Yes, that's how it works.
With the passive skill, poison resistance = resistance to all
But 600 resistance is still low. Not enough.

Do you plan to play other hero, like Demon Hunter?
Your gears will be useless on Demon Hunter if you focus on poison resistance.

So, my advice to you is, get the all resistance gears if you plan to play other heroes.
I used all my monk's gears on DH, except helm, weapon and off-hand.

Your current gears are good enough.

What about LOH gears?
Keep your DPS at current level and improve your LOH.
You need to change your weapons, amulet and rings.

Your friend is making a right choice.
That is the right way to boost up the resistance.

My monk is built on all resistance + physical resistance.
I had easy time playing DH with these gears.

You have more than good enough crit chance and crit dmg.

If you want to upgrade, I think you can push more DPS.
You need crit dmg in your rings. You need higher DPS weapon (with crit dmg + socket).
These will not come cheap anyway.

I used to use weapons/gears with low LOH to complete Inferno. About 30-50K DPS (buffed) + 600 LOH.
Not much fun and need to be very careful in every step I took.

Now I use LOH weapons/gears. Lower DPS (26K) but a better tanker + better survival in general.
I just step on arcane + fire + poison and whack. I don't need to kite or use Serenity during Ghom fight.
I use my Monk to farm now.

I completed Inferno with about 30K DPS with 600LOH.
I changed some gears and my DPS increased to 50K DPS.
I kept my LOH at 600. I didn't find great improvement on "survival" (in co-op. I play co-op most of the time)

So, I went to AH and grabbed 2 cheap weapon with high LOH (both weapons cost me less than 5m in total).
My DPS dropped to 20-23K (I can't remember the exact number).
But surprisingly I was very comfortable in A3/A4.
I was quite surprise I didn't need to kite during elite/champion/Ghom/Azmodan/Diablo fights.

I needed to kite with 50K DPS (with 600 LOH).
I didn't need to kite with 20K DPS (with high LOH).

So, LOH is the answer for me.
I am very comfortable in both solo & co-op games.

P/S With your current high DPS, you should be quite comfortable in solo. Simply because you can kill fast.
But if you play co-op, you will face some issues because elites/champions/bosses have more HP and difficult to kill.
This is why I advised you if you can keep your current level of DPS + high LOH, you will be extremely comfortable in A3/A4.

Very nice gears you got there!
I have itchiness to get Shenlongs.

IMO, 40K and 50K DPS doesn't make huge difference, especially in co-op.
Keep your gold and wait for next major weapon upgrade (that gives 70K DPS).

Or

Spend your money on building WW-Torbado Barb.
How's your Barb?
WW-Tornado Barb kills monsters in bulk and gains Paragon XP points in "bulk" and collects gold in mass too.
