Manage to pump dps up to 43k unbuff (50k buffed)! Lost some life steal/LoH thou. Gonna look for higher LS/LoH on main hand as now don't have any. Target: another 3%LS / 300LoH

Don't waste your gold. Try google D3 DPS Rechner. It is an online DPS calculator, 99% accurate. After key in your current gear stat, save the webpage as favourite/bookmark so that you can skip the same key-in step again. Very useful as you can compare intended to buy item with your current set. Even if your are switching both main hand and off hand, just key in the data of the shenlong set you're interested.

In solo mode + follower.
With 40K+ DPS, monk can kill normal monster in 1-2 hits.
With 70K unbuffed, you can kill most of the monsters in 1 hit.

You can save the XLS and no need to re-enter everytime you want to check DPS. You need MS Excel though...

101mil is good money... 70k DPS... unimaginable!!!

crit dmg is nice for seriously big (and over inflated, lol) numbers though.

also, it isn't items being expensive. it's you upgrading

From my exp, 6xx resistance is more than sufficient as inferno mobs have been nerfered post 1.0.4. Dropping some resist may able to help you pump ur dps by budget items. 
Indeed, haha. I'm almost 70k and avg 2hko white mob. It is even better when you're surrounded by scorpion/ghoul/skeleton. 
As what ALeUNe shared before, you need high LOH for better survivability. Personally i don't like standing and spam hit button. If you look at my weapons, both 7xx dps only 

how about 2.4k LoH + 3% LS (ALeUNe)? wack like a boss... 

anyway, i like different play style... killing things fast make me feel my monk awesome...

i use 7ss, and if i solo got enchantress erosion. the numbers get inflated greatly.

i firmly believe that the numbers on the inventory isnt the be all end all. that number is assuming that you can stand still whacking non stop for over a prolonged period of time. (if you're familiar with WoW raiding then you'll know how dps meter and pvp is rofl)

case in point for d3: wizards and their hydras and/or archon cannot be gauged with damage/dps shown on their inventory. in fact, wizards typically have lower dmg compared to their ranged counter parts such as WD/DH (assuming no SS, who SS inflate these days ) and even to an extent, losing out to barbarians due to their enormous amount of crit that is easier (than other classes other than DH) to attain.

tldr: dmg also doesn't calculate for your sweeping wind cyclone spawns, and 7ss.
if i can burst an elite down in 1 7ss, kewl, that's all i need lol

ahah my build is fine actually. Just that can't bath in azmodan's blood (damm you ALeUNe sets us a high standard ). YTD tried manage to tank him till 15% then I gg.com. if kite of course no problem.
