yeah man. still on GB because of the slide to silent and perfect quick launch button. not gonna update just because i wanna update. LOL...GB is too smooth to be replaced. my phone still good only the white body part a bit yellowish lol. now using the super durable casemate tough case on it. looks bulky and awesome. haha...

Guys, earlier on i had asked how to know the set is xperia s or sl. I can now confirm the set my bro bought is s. The cpu is, 1.5 as opposed to sl 1.7 n the model is lt26i,sl is lt26ii. In the receipt it clearly states xperia sl. Thats 1 prob, the other is at the bottom part of the screen its kind of yellowish. The other problem is i think my bro got cheated big time with this set, coz there is not a single sticker stating warranty from which company. He said the seller said still got 8 month warranty from sony. There is even no sirim sticker. He bought it 2nd hand at lowyat. So guys, what do u think my bro should do? This is even the 1st time for me, never got cheated b4 so dont know what to advice my bro. Care to give opinions?

Genting Agresif Sdn Bhd,  lot k007, first floor, low yat plaza. My bro already met him 2day. He said he also dunno the model was xperia s, he thought it was SL. N some other lame excuse. My bro is planning to go file a report 2morrow at the tribunal. I think he has a better chance coz in the receipt clearly states xperia SL. The set is confirmed underwater set coz brought it to another shop to have a look at it. Another thing, my bro complain about the yellow tint, the seller said his technician dunno how to repair. He said its normal for this phone, if repair will come back again.

the seller BS la...highly doubt that a seller couldn't differentiate between phones...just try to file at tribunal...whether the yellow tint problem come back again or not is not his decision to make....he should honour his warranty...
but this is waterset, send to Sony also will be charged repair fees....

ok, i already found the stock malaysia ics. just now i connected phone to pc n pc companion says theres a new update for my phone. 6.1.A.2.55. currently im on 45. I read somewhere this version cant be rooted by the Bin4ry method. Currently my phone is already rooted, will i lose the root if i update my phone?

Yup...will lose root + CWM if u do update. But just now i checked and latest for me is .50...? strange

Haha...if i have unlocked my bootloader, what for i relock it and get a OTA updates through Sony PCC? Just flash custom rom and custom kernel that was pre-rooted and CWM built in. Problem Solve.

From my days in X10i Bravia Engine does work on custom ROM provided the pieces of script/code are put into the custom ROM as well. Well the Bravia Engine only works in Gallery for us back then.

It didn't come with the X10i on stock.
