hi, im new to this thread, i have a s advance now with 4.1.2 jelly bean..it lags sometimes but it is a good and reliable phone..now im planning to get a xperia s 2nd hand from my friend and im going to sell my s advance..i just have some question about the xperia s..first of all,:

1.is it a good phone? because i havent use a sony phone before.
2.how is it better than the s advance?
3.and what is the android version now for this phone?
4.is it worth the upgrade because im getting it for a good price?
5.and last, is there anything bad about the xperia s?

i dont need the quad core phone and all the new stuffs like the iphone 5 , upcoming s4,the superior xperia z etc etc, i just need a good reliable phone that doesnt lag and a good screen..hope you guys could help me, thank you very much.

ps: my friend offered it for rm 850, bought lasy year december, so still got warranty and the phone is it excellent condition..is it worth it?? thanks again

not yet have jellybean but will get in between this month and next month. used it since june 2012. so far no big complain with hang of apps once or twice in a month. for rm850, i think it is a nice price 

You can get a new Xperia S with full warranty at about RM1000, so I'd say RM800 for 2nd hand without warranty not worth it.

ANyway, my XPS batt life back to normal.... the clock widget eat the batt.... dem.

Finally got my Xperia s.. Much better than the sadvance..I but I noticed that the buttons are hard to press because the points are very small and my thumb is big.. Now the os it's android 4.0.4.. When will it get the 4.1 update? Thanks

Yes ,the 3 dot is hard to press..
Alot of people have this problem too.
But dunno is software or hardware give this problem

Try swiping upwards at the dots. Works for me. Try Nova Launcher.

u just need to get used to it..it will be easy once u'r familiar with the button positions..after a week or so u will hav no problems pressing the buttons

and also, u can swipe upwards..many ppl in this thread also do that

maybe a little off topic for a while,just wanna ask,a friend of mine had offered me his xperia s,second hand of course,for about RM800,with no warranty left,is it worth it?sorry for the noob question,just wanna to ask for some opinion
