What's the latest price for this phone, AP and Ori? My budget RM1500 and below, while researching came upon this Xperia S, and I'm impressed with the specs ,especially the camera

Ori is no more than RM1100..it's a good buy considering the specs n price. My advise is to buy ori, since not much difference in price. Search Garage Sales, shud hav good deals around.

Why dont you go for xperia T/V instead. They got better processor and better camera with your budget :-)

My budget is RM1500, but if spend less than that also can, came upon this phone model and I quite like the specs. For Xperia T, Xperia V and TX, the price around how much? Is it much better than Xperia S?

TX can get ori for 1399 at satugadget. much much better performance. xperia S is using a 2011 CPU whereas TX is using an early 2012 flagship CPU.

Ok and the most important thing is, does the Xperia S or Xperia TX have a long-lasting battery life? This is important for me, I don't want my battery to drain too fast, I had problems last time with my phone's battery

Sometimes I can't answer call, the screen just wont response, is it just me?

It happened like 30 times calling 1 will be like this.

For me the battery life is quite good, but it also depends on your usage and Screen Brightness... Mine can last nearly 3 days with
5min call daily
5min SMS daily
10min gaming daily
10min Camera daily
Data On all the time
Screen Brightness 30%
On screen time 3hours half.

I recommend you to get Xperia V instead, Its waterproof and good CPU!! Bravia Engine 2
Ofcourse better camera!

Wah 3 days, that's quite good, but I think I would be playing more with my phone for SMS, gaming, and camera and some browsing, but I would also put less screen brightness as I don't like it to be too glaring. I saw on gmsarena/mobile88 that some of the Xperia's like S,T got short battery life so I want to consider first.

So among all the Xperia's, and with my budget of let's say RM1100-RM1500, Xperia V is the best?

IMO xperia V is the best for the moment, can get around 14XX for ori... It perform better than S3, can play water and have better camera than Xperia S as well... its a tough phone

Better than S3? That's impressive, but RM1400+...I think I reduce my budget to RM1200++ instead How about Xperia T? So many Xperia models and I'm quite confused

TX I think need about 13XX... in this case you can just take Xperia S la... will be around 10XX

Lol yea the model I first looked at before I got suggestions for T/TX, V etc. and it made me confused I think I settle for Xperia S, anyway since this is Xperia S thread, what are the cons of this phone?

So far I'm satisfied with most of the stuffs in Xperia S... only cons for some ppl might be
-no SD card slot
-Battery not removable
-photo have some noises when snapped at dark area
-Weak LED Flash (I feel it is weak compared to other phone like Neo V and S2)

These are the cons I can think off... basically having a not removable battery sounds good to me because we don't have to worry if our phone comes with 3rd party battery and also no need worry if the battery become loose after some time

3rd and 4th con I think I would have no problem with, I sometimes off flash when I take pics also, I'm noob in taking pics la. But no SD card slot,would the built-in be enough for apps and everything? And if battery not removable, what is the disadvantage?We can't replace it ourself?
