QUOTE(Luqman999 @ Dec 10 2012, 02:05 PM) I hate the focusing on xperia s, so damn slow . I missed a lot of good shot. The Night Shot, so called Exmor Sensor doesn't seems to be so promising... I get a lot of noise taking night shot... and also the focusing on video mode , haihhhhh Hope next update will have some improvement on that... |

QUOTE(tanjinjack @ Dec 11 2012, 01:29 PM) Hello, I found my set to have the yellow tint issue. Can anyone advise me detail on the replacement? Is it replacing the screen only or the whole phone? What's the turnover time? Mind to share your Build Number , Hardware version and Display firmware? Is it fall under AA and display firmware 7?Added on December 12, 2012, 1:05 am QUOTE(DotaGamer @ Dec 11 2012, 11:51 PM) Is it worth the update? QUOTE(tanjinjack @ Dec 12 2012, 01:17 PM) Wow... Week 22 still with AA hardware batch... seems like Firmware 6 doesn't promise yellow tint-free...I just got mine last week and it is 12W15 but Luckily with Firmware 6 and AB hardware batch... So far no Yellow tint Issue after 30 minutes of playing Need For Speed Shift... Not sure if my phone not hot enough? |

QUOTE(bigbangformula @ Feb 10 2013, 05:58 PM) Ok and the most important thing is, does the Xperia S or Xperia TX have a long-lasting battery life? This is important for me, I don't want my battery to drain too fast, I had problems last time with my phone's battery For me the battery life is quite good, but it also depends on your usage and Screen Brightness... Mine can last nearly 3 days with5min call daily 5min SMS daily 10min gaming daily 10min Camera daily Data On all the time Screen Brightness 30% On screen time 3hours half. I recommend you to get Xperia V instead, Its waterproof and good CPU!! Bravia Engine 2 Ofcourse better camera! Psst! I'm using Xperia S This post has been edited by zero5177: Feb 10 2013, 08:52 PM |

QUOTE(bigbangformula @ Feb 10 2013, 09:55 PM) Wah 3 days, that's quite good, but I think I would be playing more with my phone for SMS, gaming, and camera and some browsing, but I would also put less screen brightness as I don't like it to be too glaring. I saw on gmsarena/mobile88 that some of the Xperia's like S,T got short battery life so I want to consider first. IMO xperia V is the best for the moment, can get around 14XX for ori... It perform better than S3, can play water and have better camera than Xperia S as well... its a tough phoneSo among all the Xperia's, and with my budget of let's say RM1100-RM1500, Xperia V is the best? |

QUOTE(bigbangformula @ Feb 10 2013, 11:02 PM) Better than S3? That's impressive, but RM1400+...I think I reduce my budget to RM1200++ instead TX I think need about 13XX... in this case you can just take Xperia S la... will be around 10XXBtw you can check this site for Xperia V review Xperia V review This post has been edited by zero5177: Feb 10 2013, 11:10 PM |

So far I'm satisfied with most of the stuffs in Xperia S... only cons for some ppl might be
-no SD card slot -Battery not removable -photo have some noises when snapped at dark area -Weak LED Flash (I feel it is weak compared to other phone like Neo V and S2) These are the cons I can think off... basically having a not removable battery sounds good to me because we don't have to worry if our phone comes with 3rd party battery and also no need worry if the battery become loose after some time |
