Hi guys,i recently just get a XPS,but i was unable to update to android 4.0, i connected to sony update service and the result was no update found. anyone encounter this before and how to update android 4.0?

Search 'Lara Croft', no wonder it not showed up when I searched 'Tomb Raider'.. and my card still block ..

I think no, apps data will remain but app will be gone, once u reinstall u will find tat the data still intact, like game save data

no idea about that, how to try that?? even the phone itself while connected to wifi,it wont shows there are new system update...

Unless you've disabled it beforehand, else you just plug your phone to a pc via usb the phone will prompt you to install pc companion, follow the instruction to install it. Then launch pc companion, it'll automatically search for new firmware.

i have no idea about that, will check later. but if disabled. how to enable it back?
btw if the option above is also not working, any other alternative??

To enable/disable PC Companion installation prompt, go to Settings>Xperia>Connectivity>Install PC Companion
I believe you were trying to use the 'Update Centre' app to get OTA firmware update. I think OTA update is not available in M'sia as this 'Update Centre' app never find any updates.

Your 4.0.4 is not 4.0.4. It is GB not ICS. You may have made a mistake uploading.
