then romeu need to step up, if he wants to rotate with lamps or mikel. for sure lamps will start to sulk if he's drop to bench and mikel is on form.

RDM will scratch his head.

We have yet to find the attacking side that can match these front 5 of the 09/10 season:
Drogba-Anelka-Kalou-Malouda-Lampard

FloMo to train with U21?
sos

Kesian to see player treated like this. A bit too harsh, especially since he was successful in the past.

The France international midfielder, who has less than a year remaining on his contract, has been at Chelsea for five years. He had been linked with a return to his former club Lyon during the summer, while Brazilian side Santos were also interested in signing him.

this wouldn't have happened if malouda had taken a pay cut & left respectfully but he decided to stay & will have to train with the under 21's squad...

hmm i know we've joked about him being banished to the youth team before, but isn't this a bit harsh? mixed feelings about this..it might seem cruel, but he did have a chance to move brazil for a final swansong, on reduced wages.

on the other hand, we're really making inroads into breaking up the much publicised player power in the dressing room, with another member of the old guard cast aside. it's a clear signal by the board imo, that they won't tolerate any nonsense from anyone. might have a slight effect on team harmony but when you think about it, it's obvious which group of players the club are putting their trust upon.
