All , just want to let you know i am rooted but stock firmware user. Received OTA of new update this noon.
I backed up by CWM then uninstalled Flipboard. After that select to upgrade via OTA. It works without needing to flash!! Wow cool!
Not like previous version, must use PC Odin to flash the firmware.

QUOTE(emy_xvidia @ Jul 13 2012, 01:26 AM) this happens when you dont do a full wipe prior to updating to the new ROM. But it's ok, as quoted by llk below, that's the solution to make TB able to install again. Thanks, lesson learnt. First timer and I tot it just like upgrade instead of flashing ta new Rom. I wasn't thinking about the size of the Rom. I tot like the first ota I received before root

Anyhows, seems AMOLED is STILL generally quite yellowish at low brightness levels. Oh well, warm white is realistic white lol. ~~LOL~~ Welcome to ths family bro :-)

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Jul 13 2012, 07:47 AM) ~~LOL~~ Welcome to ths family bro :-) Thanks. Feel like going kung fu back to the shop for the slightly warm screen - but considering I already got a Sony cam sensor and zero other issues, I'll just hang back and wait for Supercurio's screen tuner. Later I go change unit/change LCD = other issues lol. Very not enjoice. That said, this thing is HUGE! Having difficulty typing with one hand edi.

After update the firmware, Play Store notifies update for:
1. Flipboard 2. Facebook (under Manual Updates)
Shall update the Flipboard?
On the other hand, those uses Soccernet apps, also got update.

If you feel S3 is already HUGE then i wonder how you feel if you hold GNote or the upcoming Note2..GERGANTUAN maybe :-) About the yellowish screen you can try your luck getting a replacement at service centre BUT be prepared as you might getting worse new screen than you're having now. A big gamble if i were you.
