hi guys.. i own a MACH credit card, but i couldn't make any online payment using this card..last time i book air ticket and try to make payment using this card, but got rejected...same things goes to online booking for movie ticket...is this card not eligible for online payment or online shopping???

Bought TGV ticket online and i received 2 diff code for 2 diff transaction :

- IPAY88*TGV CINEMAS-TGV WP KUALA LUMPMY
- MOBILE88.COM-IPAY88 CHERAS MY

The first one was accepted as cinema and I received a cashback, then second one was not recognized as cinema and I did not received a cashback

I lodge a complain to MACH already. But I doubt much can be done because as everyone well know this depend on the machine MCC code.

will do. i also sent another email to tgv to inform them of this issue and they replied me with a stupid answer.
I mention the word MCC code 5 times... he come back and tell me is it OTP needless to say, i never bother to reply.

went to mach by HLB at paradigm mall and applied for the credit card. Mainly because they offer 20% off for music show @ The Bee. anyway, hope it can impress me if the cc approved.

About the Cinema cash back, Shall I go to the counter pay via card or can online/app purchasing it or both ways work?

Is the dream jar thingy worth a try for short term purpose?

Is the cashback given on Statement Date or End of the Calendar Month ?

You can try the one in Pavillion, looks for the guy named Darren. He's very helpful and if nothing happens you will get the card within an hour.
I didn't because mine needs to check further.  Mine was approved in the next working day if I'm not mistaken.

Your case is exactly the same as mine. I terminated my card back in 2014 and went to Mid Valley during a Sunday to reapply, then problems occurred; I am an existing HLB card holder, so the application will be considered as adding another card. So they told me I can't get the card on the spot because need to have HLB credit card department to check on my payment history etc only can decide on the approval of the card. But they are closed on Sunday so need to wait till Monday. I said fine, just proceed with the application. After printing the EPF form, submitted the application form online and received SMS stating my application has been received, the agent went to check with the system, they said I already submitted the application form back in 2013, if submit again will become duplicate application. So they cancel my application, and asked me to fill in the form manually (hard copy). At the end it took me 2 weeks to get the card. Nevertheless I got the RM100 instant cash rebate the next day together with the 5% dining cash back

Yup, only the CC.
I'd be pretty shocked if the branch wouldn't be able to do it. Even for temporary PINs (signing up for online account only without ATM withdrawal) it's able to be done on the spot.
