No, you can't use this card in GSC Hong Leong counter but you will get cash back if you choose Social package.

You can register HL Connect account with just credit card and view your statement, I don't have their savings account too.

You can add Movie package for RM 5 per quarter on top of your Trendsetter. Trendsetter is good for dining, so if you have a lot of dining it's worth for it.

Instead of adding categories, you can apply other cards for groceries and phone bills.
Use recommendation thread for other cards.

I wanted to use PIN too but the cashiers are usually faster than me, straight bypassed it.

I also had issue with it, so I went back to the agent and he helped me to register one dummy debit card account. It can link after that, after the debit card is dormant, I removed it.
Now no more problem even my previous Wise card which was applied after that, linked instantly before I got the card.

The commitment could be the reason. You can try to appeal again but whether the bank will entertain your appeal, it's totally up to them..

CTOS is usually for bankruptcy and blacklist reason.. I think you should check CCRIS. Appeal first before reapplying.
