I'm a careful driver ... the figure i gave has already accounted for city and highway.
I mean, when driving in town 80-90% of da time, I get RM0.22/km and if driving 80-90% in Highway, I get RM0.19/km.

Been monitoring this FC since the day I bought the car last year. Now the car is 15 months already.
I dun accelerate much... really. Normally I just accelerate smoothly after traffic lights.

Highway speed is at 110kmh and city is at 70kmh or 80kmh most. And like I said, I'm not a 'fast & furious' type. That's why I'm asking here.

If ppl say auto cars 'drink' more, then, how do you justify that my car drinks even more than a 2.2L auto honda accord? (compared to my friend's)

I'm really confused here, and pretty much frustrated with the car.
Any ideas to help me out ....

If you want easily twincam, do like desmond loh, 92 DOHC or 92 MIVEC DOHC or 93 DOHC

Hardest is 92 DOHC head and 92 DOHC MIVEC head ler

If don't want twincam, scout for 2nd hand performance cams for SOHC. RM500 range can get liao

But at the meantime, kao tim your exhaust first ler

92DOHC head can find meh?
i read in the zth forum...
most of them use 91 and 93...

92 DOHC head very rare
The most easiest is 91 head to find
if 92 DOHC can't find mah go 93 DOHC head lo

anything above 90kmph is fuel consuming. Don't really know the details but the design of the gearbox ratio & engine cc...and assuming you're going at gear 5...going above 90kmph is the beginning of the fuel "buffet". My speed...highway or city is the same - 80-85kmph. I also don't have to worry about saman for speeding when I'm going at 80

jeez...15 months and already thinking of changing car??? No wonder there're so many 2nd hand cars out there

God... my old carb 1.3 conv 1.5 carb also not that teruk.... city drive about 0.18/km only.. but manual la... u sent for tuning or not? maybe just the timing out?

yaa just 15 mnths ...but the thing is ..my car drinks a lot of petrol ...and when the car was 8 mnths old, the driver's side drive shaft 'tercabut' ....no kidding ...
the tire was not able to rotate anymore ..
took it to main branch service center and have it repair there ..

Actually, I did mention to the service center that I'm hearing 'clicking sounds' and vibrations during 'corner'ring ... but they said I have to order the parts first (3 weeks at least for order) ..... but then, even after 7 weeks the part haven't arrive ...until my car got breakdown at the drive shaft ..... damn ..

yaa ... how to check for tune problem? ...can do by ourself kah?

any tips on where to start checking?

u can go back to eon services center check or going the workshop got da checking meter 1.

Carburator tuning is the toughest one imo. Too lean, u get lesser power and harder cranking/engine startup. Too rich, u get horrible fc. As for the distributor, they will use the timing gun to check.

Lately my wira got some marble droping sound after Cornering to the right side when the car is balancing, what problem will it most probaly be ? thx.

Tak tak sound? If it is then its driveshaft, do go to a mech to check on it
I am having the same problems too, but driveshaft too expensive for me for now

can always get a half-cut driveshaft... its not more than RM300... i got my replaced.. last time attacked corner too sharp.. haha..

yupe, too expensive d if get a new 1. get a used 1 oso still can use for long period 1.
