1. Brand: No Dell Brand
2. Budget: RM2500 or below (can consider up to 3k if there is an outstandingly good lappy aroud that)
3. Usage: Photoshop, video editing, and surf net
4. Preferred laptop/screen size: 13" or 14" , light and thin is preferred but optional.  i3 or i5, 4GB ram with Windows 7. icon_rolleyes.gif

For your usage, the CPU is more important yo brows.gif
And try not to judge a GPU by the amount of VRAM it has, higher doesn't mean its better nod.gif
Can consider these:
14"
Acer V3-471G-53212G50k/g/s, i5-3210M + Nvidia GT630M@RM1999[2.3kg], 2GB, 500GB black,gold,silver, Olympic, 3 years warranty

Asus A45Vm-VX113v, i5-3210M + Nvidia GT630M (2GB)@RM2099[2.4kg], 2GB, 500GB(5400rpm), W7HP

Dell Inspiron 14R, i5-3210M + Nvidia GT630M@RM1999[2.38kg], 4GB, 500GB(5400rpm)
Dell Inspiron 14R (Special Edition), i5-3210M + Nvidia GT640M(28nm Kepler)@RM2199[2.38kg], 4GB, 500GB(7200rpm); backlit keyboard optional *this one has the best specifications.

HP Pavilion G4-2006/2007/2008TX, i5-3210M + AMD HD7670M@RM2199[2.19kg], 4GB, 750GB(5400rpm), W7HP

Your usage is kind of too general...
What do you mean by multimedia stuffs bro? Listening to music and watching videos?
If that's the case, then its better to choose a laptop with a good screen rather than good speakers (unfortunately laptops at RM2k either have good screen OR good speakers lol). Then use the remaining money to get a good pair of earphones/speakers nod.gif

Can consider these:
14"
Toshiba
Satellite L840-1000, i3-2350M + Intel HD3000@RM1649[2.12kg], 2GB, 640GB, W7HP
if you prefer a little bit more GPU punch, then
Satellite L840-1024X, i3-2370M + AMD HD7670M@RM1899[2.12kg], 2GB, 640GB, W7HP

Use the remaining money to extend warranty to 3 years and also get a kick@ss speaker system thumbup.gif

I mean for using illustrator, video editing, watching movie stuff like that. I don't mind the speaker since I'll be using headphone a lot.
Thanks for the reply man! icon_rolleyes.gif thumbup.gif
