*
these two pack of key chains cost me about 500 yen each..pretty expensive. doh.gif sweat.gif

I missed out going to the oriental bazaar in harajuku.. sad.gif the guesthouse staff intro me go this honki dote shop in akihabra.

quite huge shop with several floors selling numerous things, maid clothes, costumers( star wars etc), AKB 48 stuffs and other quirky items..but not cheap at all..haha

haha..good for u. u are the pro at the credit card thread mar.. rclxms.gif

QUOTE(stimix @ Nov 20 2012, 12:22 PM)
When there is a huge disparity between the Money Changer rate & Bank Negara, for sure using Credit CArd or even withdraw via ATM sligthly but not all outlet accepting CC lor.. such as eateries, tranportations & etc.. you still need cash..Withdrawal.. also need to be careful because chances of your bank card got rejected by foreign countries also high as what I experienced in Seoul.. Activated my Maybank foreign witdrawal and goto their ATM but failed!..lucky I bring US$ there..
*
using atm card or CC? i used my HSBC ATM card there..no issue, world's local bank mar..haha, but am thinking to cancel my HSBC account though..

but i remember one of the foreign traveller told me not all korean bank accept foreign ATM card though..

Then rm4k - rm5k is enough.

If U really want to save a lot of money, then planning is very important like where to go and which train route to take cause transportation is not cheap.
*
one week RM 4k definitely enough cuz i was there about 8 days. You can stay single room in a guesthouse, eat at Sushi Daiwa once, go maid cafe once, meals 400-800 yen everyday..hehe. Probably below RM 4k if u really save and don't buy much things. biggrin.gif
